Staff were all very welcoming and supportive, from the receptionist who opened the computerised door and made us a cup of coffee; to the nurse who explained what was to be done; to the surgeon who was very calming, very professional and very "light handed"; and to the nurse who checked up on me after the treatment.

I arranged the appointment for my 87year old mother to have her cataract's done by Dr Mei-Ling Cheng. From start to finish it was seamless, from the extremely friendly reception team to the surgery itself. Mum was looked after very well. Time was taken to explain the procedure and aftercare. Her operation was a complete success.

After operation, take people to upright position slowly, in case they have vertigo, as I did.

I attended Clarity Edinburgh for cataract surgery on my left eye. It has been successful and my distance vision is much improved. I was planning to proceed with surgery on my right eye, in which the cataracts are less developed. Dr Zuhair Mustapha advised that the result might be disappointing given the relatively good level of vision in the eye. After some hesitation I accepted his advice and did not proceed with the second surgery. I am very pleased with the outcome and the advice to delay the second operation. In my dealings with Clarity I have found all the staff to be very helpful and friendly.

Dr Tatham initially diagnosed my glaucoma a couple of years ago and the treatment advised was very successful. However my eyesight was deteriorating due to cataracts. I had no hesitation in booking an appointment at Clarity with Dr Tatham who is a very experienced Ophthalmologist performing cataract surgery for patients with glaucoma. Dr Tatham advised which lenses would suit my requirements and I can now even read without glasses and distance is no problem - I am delighted with the result. The nurses were very kind, professional and very informative after surgery and the receptionists very patient when I had to change an appointment.
