Dr Colin Goudie is a Consultant Ophthalmologist specialising in cataract and vitreoretinal surgery. He graduated from the University of Edinburgh and completed his specialist ophthalmic training at the Princess Alexandra Eye Pavilion in Edinburgh and Queen Margaret Hospital in Dunfermline. He subsequently undertook two years of advanced training in vitreoretinal surgery in Edinburgh and Auckland, New Zealand. Following this, he was appointed as a Consultant Ophthalmologist at the Princess Alexandra Eye Pavilion and Borders General Hospital.
Dr Goudie is currently the Clinical Lead for the Ophthalmic Acute Referral Clinic in Edinburgh and is actively involved in postgraduate education, contributing to the training of future ophthalmologists.
