Miss Subba was absolutely wonderful. Miss Subba clearly explained the medical issues in a way that both myself and my daughter understood. She gave us an opportunity to ask question and clarify the next steps making sure we fully understood the steps ahead. She was delightful and professional. I told DR shubba that my last pap smear was difficult and that I need extra time in casr that was happening that day. After the conversation I needed to get a scan and she just shoved it in there really fast, I started crying and said “STOP” but she didn’t do anything, the chaperone didn’t do anything either, I didn’t understand the scanner was already all the way in, I went into shut down and just accepted this is always going to happen to me no matter how well I explain my medical trauma, in that moment I dissociated and didn’t understand what she was saying, I don’t remember any of the words she said afterwards just that she gave me a prescription. I went home and cried in the shower I felt so gross. I have chronic fatigue which I mentioned to her so the next day I couldn’t go back to work.

She got straight to the point, carried out a scan immediately, and clearly explained what was going on and what I should do next. Unlike other doctors I’d seen, she didn’t push for surgery straight away, which I really appreciated. She gave me all the time I needed, never made me feel rushed, and I felt completely comfortable throughout.
