Are you Laura Spanu?
I am a Consultant General, Emergency and Laparoscopic Surgeon, currently Clinical Lead of the General Surgery Department at the North Middlesex University Hospital, London.
I qualified as General Surgeon in Barcelona, Spain, in 2006, having done my residency in Barcelona Clinic Hospital, with a solid training in General and Emergency Surgery, Laparoscopic gastro intestinal (upper and colorectal) surgery and hepatobiliary and pancreatic surgery.
My speciality training and skills have also been expanded by several fellowships in UK, in prestigious hospitals in London, where I have improved my skills in:

I worked as a Consultant General and Upper GI Laparoscopic Surgeon in Spain from 2006 till 2013.
I am currently working as Consultant Surgeon at North Middlesex University Hospital, where I have put great efforts in the development of the Emergency Surgery Unit, with special focus on the improvement of quality and timely delivering of complex surgery for any urgent surgical conditions and the use of laparoscopic surgery for almost all acute abdominal surgical conditions.
I have extensive experience in urgent and complex gallbladder / gallstones conditions, with excellent results for both urgent and elective laparoscopic cholecystectomies. I am running a prestigious "hot gallbladder" surgery service in my hospital, and work as Clinical Lead for Acute Gallbladder Surgery for North Middlesex Hospital, Royal Free Hospital and Barnet Hospital in London.
I have special interest in General Surgery, Upper GI – benign biliary pathology and Laparoscopic Surgery, with extensive experience as well in all abdominal hernia repairs, including laparoscopic and complex abdominal wall reconstruction, benign perianal conditions - hemorrhoids, skin lesions, lumps and bumps (lipomas, etc)
I have special comprehensive dedication attending women with any general surgical condition, working as a respectful and dedicated team surgeon - anaesthetist and nurses for selected cases as required.
I am constantly working on expanding my skills and focused on training of students and future surgeons in UK and abroad.
I am an educational and clinical supervisor for University College London and I am training one specialist trainee yearly. I am also Assistant Professor in the Department of Surgery at St. George's University, Grenada - affiliated NMUH, London.
