I cannot speak highly enough about my experience with Mr Boz Mohammadi and his incredible secretary, Iwona. From start to finish, the level of care, professionalism, and compassion I received was truly exceptional. Mr Boz Mohammadi is not only a highly skilled and knowledgeable surgeon, but also remarkably kind and patient. He took the time to explain every step of the process, answered all my questions with genuine care, and made me feel completely at ease throughout what could have been a very stressful time. His calm, reassuring demeanor and attention to detail gave me complete confidence in his abilities—and the results speak for themselves. Equally impressive was his secretary, Iwona, who was warm, efficient, and incredibly responsive. She handled every inquiry and phone call with such grace and kindness. No question was too small, and she always made me feel like a priority. Her support played a huge role in making the entire experience seamless and stress-free. Together, they make a truly outstanding team. I was seen by a young male dentist (apologies, he did tell me but I can't recall his name and it isn’t listed on the website – perhaps he is new). He was professional, informative, and efficient throughout my appointment. As I’m allergic to local anaesthetics, fillings can be particularly uncomfortable, but he was very reassuring and took great care, as did the dental nurse. By far, this has been the best service I’ve experienced at the practice to date. My only critique is not directed at the dentist himself, but rather the practice’s policy. Over the past couple of years, I’ve noticed that patients cannot book a filling replacement directly without first having a pre-booking consultation. This essentially doubles both the cost and the time needed off work. In my case, a chipped filling was causing pain due to decay, and it was obvious that a replacement filling was required. I had to insist several times when booking that I did not need a pre-assessment, only a filling appointment. Given that I am a private patient and a silver filling costs almost £200, being charged for an unnecessary pre-booking simply to confirm what is already evident feels unreasonable.

We feel so fortunate to have been able to have our daughter delivered at the Portland Hospital. Our room, the food, the care, everything was exceptional. Most of all we are grateful to the incredible midwives, who looked after us with such warmth and patience. We felt so safe in the knowledge that one of these incredible women was there around the clock to look after us and guide us through the early days and hours of our journey into parenthood. The various healthcare professionals (paediatrician, physio, lactation consultant, pharmacist) as well as the registrar who came to see us were all exceptional individuals too and it was incredibly helpful to be seen by all of them during our hospital stay. A special thank you goes to Pat, our amazing midwife, who accompanied us on the day of our birth. We couldn’t have asked for a more wonderful midwife to be with us on this incredible journey.

Andrew was, as ever, totally professional whilst being friendly, supportive, helpful, kind and witty, all of which make every consultation a total pleasure. He never patronises or intimidates but is always a great listener, reassures and generally makes me feel that I matter. He doesn't shy away from telling the truth of a situation yet does it with empathy and sensitivity (sometimes tough love is what I need). He deals not only with my HIV status and wellbeing but also with my mental health, my general physical health (I have numerous other health, previous recreational drug use, relationship and financial issues) with a reassuring confidence. Andrew puts me at ease and I can say without hesitation that he is the best NHS Consultant I have ever met. He has literally saved me from suicide on at least one occasion!

Genuinely empathetic, understanding, supportive and offered a full and complete explanation of my son’s issues. Dr Tantry spent the whole appointment taking a full history, as well as asking thorough questions. This appointment has moved us further in one hour than we have managed to get in years. Dr Tantry ensured my son had a blood test and x ray the same day, called us back in between consultations to update us on the x ray. And offered support via email / call if anything changes prior to our next appointment. Must also mention Mr Tantry’s secretary, Tracey, was really helpful and managed to get us a really convenient appointment, as well as keeping us informed of the process. 10/10. Thank you.

My wife is in hospital for an operation today and due to prior anxieties over NHS treatment, we asked the hospital for me to stay with my wife in the room throughout including overnight. They have been most accommodating and have bent over backwards to make it work and kept me fully informed throughout how the operation is going. The consultant was more than happy for me to ask questions both during consultations and the surgery today and has given great confidence that all will go as planned. Ward staff have been more than helpful to both of us and treated us as individuals and my wife has been provided a high level of care throughout.

We were so impressed with the hospital. It was modern, clean, and we were welcomed so warmly by a nurse called Helen who somehow knew who we were and offered us a hot drink and clearly explained how the process of the appointment and procedure would look like. We were then taken to the room where Dr Shah and a second nurse called Yvonne welcomed us and Dr Shah explained clearly the assessment, the procedure, and dealt with us and and our newborn son with care and attention. The aftercare was also wonderful and we were given time and space to ensure our son had recovered before we left. Cannot recommend One Hospital and Dr Shah enough.

I have had 3 procedures with Ms. Zweifel, the latest of which was in Theatre via local anaesthetic. Ms. Zweifel & all her Theatre team were very professional & the atmosphere in Theatre was very calm, which was very reassuring. At every stage of the procedure I was told by Ms. Zweifel what was happening, & everyone in Theatre was very kind, which helped so much as a procedure in Theatre under local anaesthetic can be very daunting. Ms. Zweifel is very professional, calm & she an excellent 'bedside manor', which I feel is so very important, I would thoroughly recommend Ms. Zweifel.

The nurse who did the pre visit assessment was amazing. She was very friendly & put me at ease and explained exactly what was happening. I was sent an easy to read comprehensive report of my results prior to seeing the doctor which was great as I could go prepared with my questions. Again, he was very friendly & put me at ease, also carried out further tests, explained my results and advised accordingly. I really really recommend anyone thinking of seeking medical advise to use them.
