I agree the new pod waiting areas for day procedures helps with keeping everything moving smoother however waiting in a small pod (no TV) and a small thin plastic bag to place my clothing and footwear was not impressive! Thankfully I had left my winter coat when I was dropped off otherwise it would not have fitted into the flimsily plastic bag. I also had to ask for a separate bag so my shoes were not squashed on top of my clothes. Environmentally there needs to be a better system. If my surgical gowns can be washed and reused then there should be a more appropriate method to store patients basic clothing. Apart from the embarrassing plastic bag I can’t fault the staff who are always amazing and super supportive

Our family has been patients of various members of the team at the Forbury Clinic for over 10 years. Something has changed in the past year, rather than feeling like you are listened to and being cared for it now feels much more like a business akin so a sausage factory. In and out the door as quickly as possible, barely space for questions and little to no bedside manner. It feels like profit over patients. The remainder of our appointment yesterday was in a stair well being led downstairs after being shunted from room to room. With a teenage that is appalling. They find it hard to ask questions in an environment like that.

This was my first experience of private health care. All staff are welcoming the clinic is very clean. It was self service to Refreshments but that's not to clear. I think it would've been nicer to be offered a beverage when you check in. I found myself being forced into this option as the nhs weren't listening. I met with Dr. Howie (GP) I found it such a relief just to be heard. It has only taken 1 visit and 1 review appointment to help with my menopause issues. i have been suffering for many years and it has ovly taken 3 months to solve going private. Thank you!!

Great care from Miss Safina Ali. Thank you so much. Hope this review helps other people after tonsillectomy, take pain medication at regular intervals, rest for the first 2 weeks, Ice pack from Amazon and be careful when brushing your teeth, stay away from coughs and colds and do regular alcohol free mouthwashes 4 times a day. I had a bleed day 6 and was looked after by royal London (thank you nhs) I’m nearly 3 weeks post surgery now and feeling lots better and so happy to get rid of my horrible tonsils that caused me a lot of problems! All staff, including the doctor we saw, we're very friendly, made us feel at ease, and the procedure appears to have been carried out smoothly. The only thing I'd fault is the communication before the appointment, particularly the emails. They include a misleading price, the suggestion that a follow-up would not be required (when we understand that is completely normal) and we'd understood that we could/should be in the room when the procedure was taking place, which was then quite strongly advised against.
