He took the time to listen carefully to what I wanted, explained every step clearly, and made me feel completely safe and confident in my decision. I endured a horrific accident about 10 years ago when I fell (I believe due to a drink being spiked) and fractured two of my front teeth, one so badly that I had to have root canal work done and a crown fitted, I was devastated to learn that the root canal had failed and had caused an infection which would require further and costly dental work. The staff at Vermilion couldn't have done any better in how they treated me throughout the course of treatment which spanned 3 months. Dr Treagus in particular, must be highly commended, as despite his struggles in drilling through the crown (due to metalwork within the crown) to enable him to carry out the treatment, persevered and kept me informed at every stage, detailing worst case scenarios and explaining very directly what my options were. He and his colleagues managed to create a calm, and at times humorous environment which really helped to take my mind off the seriousness of what needed to be done and what could go wrong. I highly recommend the practice for their professionalism, and sheer determination to achieve a good outcome for me.

I attended the hospital to have planned eye surgery consisting of cataract removal, lens replacement and full thickness corneal replacement under general anaesthetic. I arrived early and was allocated to a private ensuite room with secure storage. Nurses confirmed all the necessary checks that had been conducted the previois day in pre-assessment. A nurse applied gel to my hand to numb it ready for a cannula and provided surgical stockings. The anaesthetist visited to re-confirm details and provide reassurance. The surgeon visited to review procedure and risks. The nurse accompanied me to the anaesthesia room and looked after my clothes. After fitting the cannula painlessly, after the anaesthetic I knew nothing until awakening in recovery, with a pad over the affected eye. I was taken back to my room feeling fit and well. Nurses checked on me and provided the refreshments I had ordered. The surgeon visited again to confirm the follow up appointment. Medications were made ready, with post operative guidance. My chaperone arrived to take me home. The whole thing was completed on schedule.

A little concerned as to what seems to be a deterioration in standards. - my temperature was checked with an ear thermometer that didn't have a removal cap for hygiene so does this mean it's used in each patients ears? I did not see the deodorant change the cap or discard anything, just picked it up from the table. - my ultrasound scan felt completely rushed. The doctor kept looking at his watch through out my appointment. The machine was supposedly heating up and the doctor did no ask me to turn in the positions to check the organs we needed to see. - I was prescribed medication that can easily be purchased at any pharmacy and more cost affective to purchase without prescription - there is no where near enough privacy in the appointment rooms and the waiting area. It's quiet and I could hear almost the entire conversation of other patients. - I should have been offered a full urine test based on my blood results - over not the experience I've had before. Really disappointed.

My wife had to have Cataract surgery on both eyes. The right eye was complicated cataract surgery by a dropped nucleolus. The Consultant Ophthalmologist referred her case to Mr Habal who performed right pars plana vitrectomy, removal of dropped nucleolus and secondary sulcus intraocular lens implantation. This complicated surgery was successful and it really highlights the incredibly skilled and knowledgeable that Mr Habal possessed. As I was due to have the cataract surgery on my both eyes, this gave me complete confidence and asked Mr Habal to do mine as well. He kindly accepted my case and diagnosed bilateral hypermetropia with astigmatism and the cataracts. The surgeries was a great success so that I now do not have a need to wear glasses except for reading. So does my wife. I couldn’t have asked for better care — an outstanding clinician and a genuinely caring professional.

From my very first interaction with Dr. Ghosh, I felt an immense sense of relief. He eased my anxiety about the entire situation, taking the time to patiently review all my scans and explain the potential next steps in a way I could clearly understand. He also gave me the space to ask every question I had, never making me feel rushed. Dr. Ghosh operated on me twice—first for the lumpectomy and then for the perforator flap reconstruction. In both cases, he made sure I fully understood the procedures, and he visited me the morning of each surgery to ensure I felt comfortable and prepared. Afterward, he arranged regular follow-up appointments to monitor my healing and address any concerns. Overall, I feel incredibly fortunate to have had Dr. Ghosh as my surgeon and as one of the first doctors supporting me through this cancer journey.

Our family has been patients of various members of the team at the Forbury Clinic for over 10 years. Something has changed in the past year, rather than feeling like you are listened to and being cared for it now feels much more like a business akin so a sausage factory. In and out the door as quickly as possible, barely space for questions and little to no bedside manner. It feels like profit over patients. The remainder of our appointment yesterday was in a stair well being led downstairs after being shunted from room to room. With a teenage that is appalling. They find it hard to ask questions in an environment like that.

Dr Treagus went above and beyond to ensure the best possible outcome for me and my tooth. He was very direct in explaining my options, what could and will likely go wrong in the future. He persevered in very challenging circumstances to complete the work he started, which in this case was drilling through a metal lined crown to address a failed root canal treatment and clear up an infection. His warm and humorous manner helped me to feel calm and take my mind off the seriousness of what was being done. A very professional, empathetic and great dentist.

Mr Lunawat was very good and made me feel at ease during my visit. I was happy with the results of the surgery and he clearly outlined expectations. I had a few questions about aftercare that I wanted to ask him but I didn’t have time to do so as I only saw him briefly in the hours leading up the procedure and it was a very rushed visit. Mr Lunawat did not visit me after the procedure. I would recommend Mr Lunawat to others - very good service and it is clear that he cares about his patients.

Our baby girl was delivered at the Fitzrovia. We were supported by the amazing Dr. Chawla and a highly competent team of midwives. We felt cared for by the midwives throughout the delivery, especially Lesley, Chrissy and our anaesthetist John, and throughout our after birth experience. The suite was comfortable and had comprehensive catering. We would recommend the experience to others and are happy we chose the Fitzrovia.

It was my second cataract removal this time on my left eye which was excellently carried out as was the first with the nursing staff preparing me for the operation carrying it out in a very professional way explaining each procedure in a kindly manner.
