I had an open rhinoplasty with Duncan over the summer and would absolutely recommend him to someone considering the same procedure. I had been considering a rhinoplasty for a few years because of the slight droop in my nose that I've always disliked, but was also slightly terrified of picking the wrong surgeon, or it going wrong. So I must have looked through dozens of surgeons online, and spoke with a handful in person before deciding on Duncan. The pictures of his work always stood out to me because the results always looked so natural, and I knew I didn't want a copy-and-paste nose that I saw so frequently on Instagram. He was very realistic about what was achievable and really listened to what I wanted (a conservative rhinoplasty that wouldn't be hugely noticeable to anyone but me). I was really pleased with the result when I got my cast off at one week, but even more so four months down the line as the minor swelling has subsided. I can see a huge difference, especially to my side profile, but no one else has noticed I've had anything done. The droop has gone and in its place is a ever-so-slightly upturned tip that I'm thrilled with. It's already made me feel so much more confident when I have my photo taken. The slight bend in my nose has also been straightened which has improved my breathing during yoga classes. The recovery was very gentle - I was expecting so much worse. I had one night where learning to sleep in an upright position was a bit awkward, but there was very little pain and minimal bruising throughout the whole thing.

I attended Monaghan & Morrow clinic for a vasectomy procedure in February this year. I got booked in within 2 weeks of initial contact. I was naturally anxious about the procedure but the guys made me feel at home from the minute I walked in. The procedure was pretty much pain free. Stephen & Gillian also clearly communicated pain/brusing etc over the days following, which was very reassuring. Also a check-in email the following day to confirm all was ok. (which it was) After some initial tenderness, I was back running within 1 week of the vacetomy. The follow up semen analysis was also very straightforward. I received the kit in the post with instructions. Results were then emailed within a few weeks. I could not recommend Monaghan & Morrow enough.

I was very impressed with this place. I am an NHS patient so have never been before. It was clean and tidy. The decor was modern and if you have a fear or hospitals or.drs it.doesnt feel like a medical place. Staff so friendly. Toilets were clean and soap and handcream dispensers full. Wait time was a little longer than expected but I heard nurses saying patients had been double booked. I was still in and out within 2 hrs. I'd had a consult, 2 scans and my results in this time. I wish I could afford to go here all the time.

I would particularly like to thank and commend Andrew Skyrme who not only talked me through the process in a forthright and clear manner and undertook the surgery in a professional and successful way but also helped me with weight loss prior so my second knee surgery which undoubtedly made the recovery process a lot easier and has actually been life changing in a number of ways.

I had online consultation . The practitioner i wanted to see wasn't available and the timing changed a few times. This wasn't good given my acute state of distress. The practitioner was not particularly empathetic. He seemed a bit disconnected and almost had a fake smile. Toward rhe end od the call he tried a kind of "tough love " approach which i perceived as patronising. The prescription and advice was given clearly.

He quickly recognized that my leg edema was likely not heart-related but potentially tied to my medications. Following a series of diagnostic tests and thoughtful adjustments to my prescriptions, his assessment proved correct. I’m grateful for his expertise and attentive care.

Professor Xavier Griffin

Professor Griffin was easy to talk with. He explained my condition clearly, outlined the various treatment options and answered all of my questions clearly. Our final decision to consider hip replacement was reached on the basis of probabilities and risks and he left me in no doubt that at any time I could change my mind about the need for a hip replacement. Throughout his manner was sympathetic and helpful.

i had a letter confirming my appt yet when i arrived i was told i was not on the list and to contact my consultant's secretary. I did that but five mins later the receptionist called me for my appt. there was general lack of coordination and overall confusion and the waiting room was very full. the drinks machines were OOO so overall it was not a customer focussed experience.

He completely reassured me by carrying out tests and then contacting my gp straight away and referring me for further tests on the NHS which I was very grateful for. Overall, it was a great experience. My only suggestion would be to consider allowing patients to complete any required forms online in advance of their appointment. Being asked to fill out paper forms upon arrival—particularly after having already completed information online—feels a little outdated and could be streamlined for greater convenience.

Nuffield Health Tunbridge Wells Hospital

First visit to a private hospital. Very clean and professional with some great facilities for various treatments. Only minor downside being the very small car park, which is often full of very large expensive vehicles taking up lots of space, or even multiple spaces. There is free on-street parking nearby (2 hour limit).
