Mr Russell Bramhall is a Consultant Plastic Surgeon who works within the NHS at Glasgow Royal Infirmary. He graduated in medicine from University of Edinburgh and completed his specialist training in plastic surgery across several of the UK’s leading centres. He subsequently undertook advanced fellowship training in cosmetic surgery on London’s Harley Street, where he refined his skills alongside highly regarded aesthetic surgeons.

I went to Russell for a Breast uplift and possible later breast implant. I was very unhappy with my appearance before and had a lot of pain both mentally and physically. The surgery went amazing as were the staff at Ross Hall Hospital. After my reduction and uplift I have never been so happy with my appearance. This was my second procedure with Russell, previously having a breast reduction and uplift in November 2025. After such a positive procedure with my first surgery, I knew Russell was the surgeon I wanted to return to when I decided to explore surgery on my neck. I had always been extremely self- conscious about my neck and the fullness in this area, and it had bothered me for many years. During my consultation, Russell talked me through my options in detail and, as always was very honest and realistic about what could and could not be achieved. This is something I really value about him as a surgeon. He never makes unrealistic promises and is very open about the potential risks and limitations of surgery. At 31, I was aware that I was relatively young to be having a neck lift, so I really appreciated the time he took to explain everything and make sure I fully understood the procedure and expectations. Having now had my neck lift, I genuinely feel like Russell has changed my life for a second time. I feel so much more confident and happy within myself. I also cannot speak highly enough of his PA, Avril. She is incredibly knowledgeable, kind and supportive throughout the entire process and is always only a text or a phone call away. She is honestly so lovely and positive. Russell is an incredibly talented surgeon, but it is also his honesty, attention to detail, professionalism and the trust he builds with his patients that really stand out.
