Mr Adam Devany

Dr Adam Devany is a well experienced Consultant Foot and Ankle Surgeon at Spire Norwich Hospital and James Paget University Hospital with over 10 years of experience. He completed his medical degree at the University of East Anglia in 2009, followed by his postgraduate orthopaedic training in the East of England. During this time, his ingenuity garnered recognition, with awards such as Chief Resident status and the first prize from the Judge Business School, Cambridge University. Notably, his innovative project implementing the first app-based communications system in a UK hospital earned him recognition on BBC platforms.

Further enhancing his expertise, Dr Devany embarked on the esteemed Oswestry Foot and Ankle fellowship, investing 18 months in working alongside world-renowned orthopaedic surgeons. Within the James Paget University Hospital NHS Foundation Trust, Dr Devany commands a pivotal role as a Consultant Trauma and Orthopaedic Surgeon, dedicating his focus to the intricate intricacies of the foot and ankle. His extensive experience and fellowship training have propelled him to the forefront of foot and ankle surgery, with notable proficiency in arthroscopic cartilage regenerative procedures, sports-related injuries, instability, Achilles treatments, and corrective procedures for foot deformities like bunions and flatfoot conditions.

A distinguished leader in his field, Dr Devany's clinical acumen finds special emphasis on flatfoot conditions and the treatment of sports-related ankle injuries, particularly osteochondral injuries (OCDs) of the talus.
