Review for Podiatrist Consultant Liam Stapleton I have been a patient of Liam Stapleton for several years, and I cannot recommend him highly enough. Liam is consistently professional, attentive, and genuinely thorough. He always takes the time to listen carefully, explains everything clearly, and makes sure you fully understand both the problem and the treatment options. What really sets him apart is how deeply he thinks about each case rather than applying a one-size-fits-all approach. He looks at issues from multiple angles, not just the painful area itself. He considers overall functionality, gait, posture, and the geometry of movement, and how all of these interact and impact the body. This holistic and biomechanical approach has made a huge difference to my outcomes over the years. You never feel rushed, dismissed, or treated like a number. My first appointment with Dr James Thing went very well though I had to phone the clinic to say that I would be late for my appointment since the taxi broke down on the way. I arrived at the clinic with my husband 15 minutes late, but I was seen by Dr Thing without further delay. He told us that there was a patient who was on hour late on that day perhaps due to the cold weather. Dr Thing checked my medical details, my knee conditions in both legs, examined my knees carefully before looking them closely on the screen. I had bilateral Ostenil Plus Knee injections while the doctor was guided by Ultrasound Scan to insert the needles into the exact area of my knees. I had a little sensation when the needles were inserted but it was done in a gentle manner that I was feeling alright throughout the time of insertion. The whole procedure went smoothly and the doctor said he would see me in a year's time. In the meantime I was to take it easy and rest well for my knees to heal and he would write me an email in three weeks' time to see how I was doing.

My PSA had been creeping up for several years. By December 2024 it was 6.2 and a scan showed a tumour close to the edge of my prostate. Marc Laniado recommended a day case procedure (nanoknife) and I had this in January 2025. Twelve months later, in January 2026, my PSA is 0.3 and a scan shows no evidence of cancer. Marc is one of the most professional people I have met - everything is explained patiently and thoroughly, he is available at short notice to talk through any concerns/answer any questions, appointments are on time and his follow-up letters come the same day and clearly explain what he has done and the next steps. I would like to thank Marc Laniado and the highly efficient team he works with for the outstanding care I received - anyone of any age (I'm 82) concerned about their prostate would benefit from a​ consultation with him.

My care at this clinic has been outstanding and I would recommend it to anyone needing expert psychiatric support for complex trauma. The service is psychiatry-led, with the consultant coordinating treatment plans and supervising input from psychology, occupational therapy, group therapy and trauma modalities including EMDR, DBT, CBT and embodied psychotherapy. This ensured that care was coherent rather than fragmented. I initially attended four in-person sessions per week and have now safely transitioned to monthly. The team have specialist expertise in workplace bullying, institutional power dynamics and identity-related trauma, which is unusual to find. The level of understanding and clinical leadership has made a meaningful difference to my recovery, and I could not recommend the service more highly.

Once I arrived on the day of my surgery, the nurses were great in making sure I was fully prepared. The only questionable experience I had was that the physio who visited me before the surgery caused some confusion, as the exercises she showed me to do during the first three weeks were not what Prof. Field had said. Also it seemed odd that the physio visited me before the surgery, rather than after. Hence I ended up staying the night and saw Yannis, a different physio, the following morning, who was incredibly helpful. However, the experience overall was great, and Prof. Field and Dr Hussain, along with the day and night nurses, made me feel very comfortable and looked after me well.

Mr Tibrewal and his team have given me care and attention that went beyond my expectations. I had been suffering for years with pains in my right knee. I had been misdiagnosed twice by NHS and another privately funded surgeon. Within 30 seconds of my appointment with Mr Tibrewal said “I know what’s wrong with you, take a seat”. (Long story short my ACL in my right knee was torn completely from an old rugby injury). I knew after that I was in the best of hands with him. My son needed to have two teeth extracted prior to being fitted with braces the following month. The dentist was extremely caring - especially as the procedure proved to be quite difficult due to the large roots of the teeth being pulled. It took an hour for the first tooth to finally come out - and the dentist recommended that a second appointment be made to minimise the amount of trauma caused extracting both teeth in one go. The appointment was made while the procedure was still ongoing - which was very efficient and was a relief for my son.

Dr Tang was simply wonderful. He was very kind, gentle and understanding of my worries and health problem. He explained the procedures well and reassured me. After the endoscopies he reported back and explained clearly what he had found. All the staff at Hadley Wood were also extremely friendly, competent and reassuring, particularly Nurse Grace. Dr Tangs secretary was extremely efficient and friendly. She was quick to respond to my messages and ensured my consultations and treatment happened smoothly and speedily.

After suffering from depression for over two years and making very little progress, I decided to find a different psychiatrist and was very relieved to find Dr Kaitiff. Over a period of time Dr Kaitiff has successfully adjusted my medication and the future seems much more hopeful.

The only area for improvement is the check-in process - quite often there is a queue of people waiting at reception and the vehicle registration screen is separate to the check-in form, which isn't very efficient. The waiting area and exam rooms are clean and tidy, the staff is friendly and helpful. I prefer coming here despite it being a longer drive than my nearest private hospital because of the great experience I've had previously.
