I can’t recommend Debra highly enough as a physio. I had physio for my middle child 5 years ago with Debra and again with my now 10 month old baby. Debra is calm, patient, and so knowledgeable, which instantly put both me and my baby at ease. She has a wonderful way of engaging with babies, turning each session into something that feels more like play than therapy, while still being incredibly effective. She always takes the time to explain what she’s doing and how we can support our baby’s progress at home, which has been so reassuring as a parent. We’ve always seen such positive progress under her care, and I’m so grateful to have had her support. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Debra to any parent looking for a skilled, compassionate, and trustworthy paediatric physio.

Fantastic outcome. I am over the moon as I can now read without the need for glasses and not have to restrict my movements due to anxiety over night driving. I really didn't realise how much the cataract was impacting my life as the effects build gradually over a period of time. I was a little nervous going into surgery but the whole experience was very well and comfortably managed by the entire team. I can honestly say there was no pain. This along with the brilliant results after my first eye operation enabled me to actually look forward to having the 2nd eye done. If you are hesitating about your operation please don't, with my improved eyesight I now feel so much happier, lighter and am looking forward to the years ahead. Having been to several medical professionals in my life, I can honestly say the care provided by Dr Katie Cowie is exceptional. She has a great bedside manner, there is no judgement and she is, very knowledgable and understanding. Personably speaking, I would now always consult her on my journey through peri-menopause and beyond. She is well worth the cost for such excellent one to one care. I also see her for weight loss and again, for anyone contemplating medical assisted weight loss, I would always recommend going through someone like Dr Cowie. The assistance she provides with her vast knowledge on the subject is invaluable. I’m so grateful to have met her. and I recommend her to everyone I know going through any women’s health issues.

When I entered the premises I couldn’t believe the transformation that had taken place as I was familiar with the building when it was a hairdressing salon. It was spacious, immaculate and tranquil. Having been quite anxious before my appointment, I quickly relaxed as all the staff were extremely friendly and kind. All the tests were performed swiftly and smoothly with every concern for my comfort and my understanding of the procedures involved. Mrs. Matthews explained my forthcoming cataract surgery clearly, comprehensively and reassuringly and I was very pleased to be offered the surgery I such a short space of time. All in all I couldn’t have wished for a better experience with North Wales Eye Specialist Centre.

All the staff were friendly and helpful. The entire stay was comfortable and I felt informed at all times. Although I asked the anaesthetist and two other staff members for numbing cream for the cannula and being told this would be ok, this wasn't done. When I got to the theatre, the theatre nurse explained it was too late. I was a bit disappointed that I was only allowed a sandwich in the evening but was told this was because of the anaesthetic. The breakfast was lovely and one of the nurses kindly helped me with my suitcase when I left which was appreciated.

She identified me having a chest infection, and reduced power in my lungs . Collected prescription from chemist. At 82 , I think I would have ended up in hospital had it not seen this Doctor.
