Excellent care - Cannot fault how Ms Adams and Mr Parker and their teams looked after my mother before, during and after her operation. We paid personally for the operation (~£40k) but our experience with the billing and payments and the wider admin team is in a complete mess. We had to pay up front for everything prior to admission, which was ok, but unexpected (could have been better communicated to us, rather than a sentence lost in some paperwork), and fairly sure the insurance companies which they usually deal with wouldn't do this. One of the payments/billing team then visited my mother in her hospital bed, 4 days after a major abdominal surgery and started demanding more money verbally (to be paid that evening/the next day) with no paperwork/invoice/backup). Some things weren't done as part of the operation and the Consultant messaged us to say that it should be discounted, but no adjustment has been made. I have requested detailed backup on numerous occasions, and nothing has come through. A real shame that the medical and care team have been let down by the Cleveland back office on this occasion.

I would like to thank, not only Mr. Patko and his surgical team, but all the nursing staff, for the amazing care and thoughtfulness I received from them all when I came for a new hip replacement at Methley Spire.. I have been in pain with my right hip for nearly 5 years in all, my family continually tried to persuade me to have something done to alleviate the pain and discomfort. In a nutshell, I was afraid, hospitals have always been a fearful place to me. Eventually, the pain and the disability it was creating in my life, gave me no alternative but to seek help. I was referred to see Mr. Patko and discussed my situation, he put me at my ease, answered my fears and anxieties, and I was happy to be put on the waiting list. I am 9 weeks into my recovery period. Still attending Methley Spire for physio and follow up appointments during that time. I could not have been more cared for whilst I was in Methley, from the household staff, catering team and up the ladder to the nursing staff and specialist. I feel they are all Angels in disguise, and now I look back, how stupid I was to be so fearful, Thank you all.

Despite the industrial estate address, the practice is a lovely, bright, modern building adjacent to open fields, easy to find and ample parking close to the main entrance. I was met with a warm, friendly smile and the lady on reception couldn’t have been nicer. I was asked to complete a short health questionnaire on a tablet. I waited no more than 10 minutes before Dr Wright saw me. Both she and the nurse were also warm & friendly whilst very professional, everything was explained clearly to me, including the cost of the treatment, before treatment started. Dr Wright was extremely good at putting me at ease and checking on me as the treatment progressed. The anaesthetic was administered virtually unnoticed. After a few minutes Dr Wright removed my tooth completely painlessly, it was quick and there was barely any trauma to my gum. Even when the anaesthetic wore off, I had zero pain or discomfort and needed no further painkillers after the dose I had immediately before treatment. By far, the best experience in a dentists chair I have ever had, can’t recommend Vermillion enough

Every time I come for an outpatient appt, the specialist is an hour behind time.. the secretary/receptionist should have called ahead of time to expect delays but they don’t!! They leave it till the time of the appt to mention the hefty delay!! Last time I had to leave as I could not wait out an hr delay! So complete waste of my time & money grrr! Something that could easily be rectified with better communication from the clinic!! Including the fact when I had an outpatient procedure, I had a 2.45hrs delay as there was a delay due to an emergency in the morning.. again no contact from the clinic informing me of this delay.. had I been informed earlier before arriving at my appt which was scheduled at 1pm, I didn’t not have the procedure till 3.45!! Had there been communication from your clinic informing me of the delay I would have left home later and not have left the dogs alone for 8hrs due to the clinics inability to keep patients informed of delays!! Grrr! Every single time due to lack of communication I’m left frustrated and angry!

The team was incredibly helpful with everything from breastfeeding support to physiotherapy guidance, ensuring that I felt confident and well looked after as a new mother. I had a hip replacement in 2011 at just 47 years of age. For two years it was good but then became problematic. I revisited my original surgeon on numerous occasions, had numerous X rays, scans and injections but to no avail. After some 7/8 years of this I was removed from list as I was told there was no issue with the hip itself. Some 2 years later the pain had gotten worse and so I referred myself back to Broadgreen Hospital. Fortunately for me this time under Mr UI Islam. He reviewed scans, X rays etc and quickly identified that hip joint had dropped hence the issues I was having. He explained the potential risks of further surgery and we decided it was worth the risk. 3 days after surgery in what he tells me was a fairly complex operation I was out of hospital. Hip is better than it has been in 15 years. I am so grateful to Mr UI Islam and could not speak highly enough of him. I have a life back because of him.

The entire journey to replace my hip joint was expertly handled by the NTC in Kirkcaldy. From the pre op through to the day of surgery everything was explained by very polite and pleasant staff. The surgery and aftercare were excellent and I was able to return home next day . The nursing staff were excellent, attentive and very caring . All of the care from physio , OT, nursing team and theatre staff was excellent. I would recommend Mr Keenan and the NTC team to anyone needing a similar surgery. Mr Keenan has given me back the ability to walk without pain . I am indebted to his skill and the entire team for their excellent care. I can now return to an active life again after suffering from joint pain for so many years . Thank you

She's relentless in trying to find the solution and the right help for me, going over and beyond just to help me. Even if all other ideas fail, she always tries to find another way, not giving up on me. I travel miles to London to see Dr Lafina Diamandis because she is a breath of fresh air, and very worth of my time to see someone like her who is passionate about their job and cares about her patience. I couldn't thank her enough for her help and support. Words can't fully capture it; I'm forever grateful for Dr Lafina's help.

This was my first experience of private health care. All staff are welcoming the clinic is very clean. It was self service to Refreshments but that's not to clear. I think it would've been nicer to be offered a beverage when you check in. I found myself being forced into this option as the nhs weren't listening. I met with Dr. Howie (GP) I found it such a relief just to be heard. It has only taken 1 visit and 1 review appointment to help with my menopause issues. i have been suffering for many years and it has ovly taken 3 months to solve going private. Thank you!!

With a history of long term sunbed use and holidays abroad i decided to book an appointment for a skin check. The check was done manually and not a machine like other clinics advertise. The nurse was extremely friendly and I felt comfortable straight away. She conducted the examination and fed back to me on everything she found as she went along. I had a few questions to ask regarding sun exposure and found her very knowledgeable. I would definitely recommend the clinic and have gained lots of information I can use for the future.

When I told people the procedure is carried out whilst I am awake, most looked horrified. However the actual experience was really quite pleasant and proved nothing to be worried about.
