I need to express how disappointed we are following the appointment we attended on the 4th February. We took a lot of time to research the best person who we felt could help us to find some answers. We have been constantly ignored and fobbed off by the health professionals who do not seem to want to listen or understand and unfortunately this seems the same when paying for a private consultation. You do have a friendly manner bordering patronising and seemed to want to rush us through the appointment with little interest in suggesting anything other than what the NHS has already said. Was this due to your perception of our ability to pay for future appointments? Prior to the appointment we filled in the form requesting information which you sent asking for details of the problem and what is important to my partner. It was immediately evident that you had not taken the time to review the information she had shared because you had to ask who I was, had you read the information you requested you would have been aware. I believe that my partner has Osteoarthritis and Osteoporosis. I said this in the appointment and your response was that Osteoarthritis and Osteoporosis are two distinctly different conditions. This was very patronising as we are aware that they are two separate conditions, the point was that we feel she has both. The two are not, to my understanding, mutually exclusive. My partner has many symptoms which could be associated with an autoimmune disease which is why we wanted to rule this out. We specifically chose you to make an appointment with due to your well documented interest in autoimmune diseases. Unfortunately, we did not feel that you had any curiosity or interest in supporting us. If you are unable to provide any suggestions other than osteoarthritis in the shoulder, please could you suggest a specialist who may have the knowledge, interest and curiosity to support us moving forward.

Newmedica Leeds. 5* Care from start to finish. My optician at Specsavers suggested it was time to consider cataract surgery and I was offered an NHS referral to my choice of providers. I chose Newmedica Leeds and just over 2-3 weeks later had an initial consultation at Newmedica. Unfortunately my high blood pressure caused some problems and delayed the first cataract operation to my left eye, after 4-5 weeks weeks I had surgery on my first eye and 5-6 weeks later my second eye was done. Without exception all of the staff I met at Newmedica were friendly, helpful, and very caring. The consultant who carried out the procedure on both eyes (Mr. Kamran Khan) took the time to explain the procedure and answer my questions. During the procedures he was reassuring and calmly explained what was happening. Both procedures were carried out successfully and my sight is so much better now. I would like to give a big thank you to Mr Kamran Khan and his team and my Optometrist Summer Elyoussfi and her team for all the care and attention I received. I have no hesitation in recommending Newmedica Leeds.

Before I met Glenda I was at a very low point in my life. I was experiencing an incredible amount of stress and anxiety following a breakdown in my relationship. Some days I would arrive at our therapy session without knowing what I was going to discuss but Glenda creates a safe environment which allows you to open up and share your thoughts and feelings. Glenda is an incredible psychodynamic therapist and has been highly influential in my life and I will be forever grateful for her knowledge, her patience and her kindness. Thank you for everything.

The surgery itself was quick and completely comfortable—I felt reassured throughout. Post-operative care was thorough, with attentive follow-up reviews and clear guidance at every stage. I met Dr Adamczyk for a review following a surgery late last year. There was a lot of endometrial tissue which had blocked my ureter and required additional support from the urology department. Dr Adamczyk has always been very thorough in explaining what has been done during the surgery and the plan going forward. I was also recommended exercises to strengthen my pelvic muscles. I am so glad for the last surgery and removal of the endometrial tissue as this has really enhanced my quality of life and I feel more like myself again.

On arrival I was greeted by Dr Baldwin who apologised for being 20 minutes late on starting my appointment. We sat down and as soon as I informed him of my condition and concerns he became totally disconnected and kept looking at his watch. He eventually examined me and gave a diagnosis and but without any test I chose Mr Baldwin because on his Bupa page he stated he had a keen interest in oral infection ie mouth ulcers, what I experienced was the totally the opposite, I am now left getting a second opinion
