Mr Kenan Dehne

I have been diagnosed with osteoarthritis in both knees. Because of the deterioration, Mr Dehne Recomended two partial knee replacements. I have recovered well from first operation and awaiting second op. Mr Dehne and all the team at Practice plus group Edgebaston have been amazing, they are extremely professional, welcoming and willing to answer any questions and explain in detail which has been very reassuring.

Excellent service from start to end. Everything thing went well and a perfect scar.

Dr Dehne explained what would happen during the surgery and the prehab process clearly. The acl reconstruction surgery itself was done as day surgery and has been life changing. I was able to walk unaided within a week and with regular physio the improvement is really rapid. I cannot recommend Dr Dehne highly enough.

Great experience

Following my total knee replacement in January it has been an very tough recovery which I was warned about. Mobilisation, physio therapy consistency, rest and good diet were shared post operatively. I came off pain relief quite quickly but I had a fall at about 7 weeks which halted my progress but Mr Dehne offered me reassurance advised on continued pain relief to aid with physio for extension and flexion. I have since made great progress. my scar is very beat and already barely noticeable. I have recently been discharged and Mr Dehne was confident in my continued recovery which boosted me as recovery is very up and down with this major surgery. A lovely consultant with a lovely reassuring manner. I am now mobile, no walking aids, mostly pain free and getting back to normal life (4 months out). Good advice and care helped a lot.

Very professional and everything was explained to me clearly the before procedure the the aftercare. Communication was excellent. There is free on site parking it is just so organised from start to finish. The staff are excellent so attentive checking all your Obs on a regular basis. Food was amazing! The Surgeon Dr Kenan Dehne did both my Full Hip Replacements one in September 2025 and the second one in February 2026 and I met with him last week for my Folliw Up Appointment he was so pleased with my progress and it was lovely to meet with him outside the Operating Theatre!! Lol I can recommend the Care Practise Hospital in Edgbsston they are outstanding! You feel your the only patient there receiving a 100% attention from this exceptional team. Anyone considering booking their procedures here has nothing to worry about. The reassurance and support you receive from every member of the team is outstanding!! Anne xx

Yes very positive visit Hip replacement was perfect and scar is so good almost invisible The treatment I have had has been first class from Mr Dehne and all the staff I keep telling friends who are struggling with knee conditions to get referred to this hospital This is the best operation I could have had as was suffering terribly cannot believe just how good it was Thank you so much for the journey in total .

I came in for a follow up appointment post surgery after having concerning pain ans locking in my knee. Dr Dehne asked numerous questions spoke extensively with me about what could have caused this and in turn what the next steps would be. He requested a check in appointment 6 weeks later to see how I was getting on and to determine whether further surgery was required. I appreciated that a rushed decision was not made and he was quite frank about what the issue could be and what this would mean going forward.
