I found my follow up visit helpful and informative. I discussed my progress and my desire to continue to progress without intervention at this point . I was reassured that if I needed further support that I could contact the hospital to request an appointment.

Mr Dehne performed total knee replacement on left knee 4.5 months ago. From first visit to post-op consultation I felt very supported, listened to and as though I was in great hands. At every appointment, including the operation itself, Mr Dehne has been very considerate and gave me time to ask any questions. The operation itself was a 10/10 success and i have healed incredibly well. I am already gaining back my mobility, fitness and confidence. I'm so pleased I'm going back to Mr Dehne for knee no.2!!

Dr Dehne is an outstanding consultant. He took the time to clearly explain all of my treatment options, how the hip replacement procedure would be performed, the surgical approach he would use, and how the new joint would function. He carried out the operation himself and was professional, friendly, and reassuring throughout, making me feel completely at ease. His post-operative care and follow-up were equally exceptional. I couldn't have asked for a better experience and would highly recommend him.

I had a Complex knee surgery on 18th May. After a consultation with Mr Dehne on 15th May, this surgery was deemed urgent. Mr Dehne was extremely compassionate and empathetic, whilst totally positive that he could help me. After 5 months with a locked knee at 30 degrees, bucket handle meniscus tear, partial acl tear, I was extremely compromised with my walk, discomfort and overall well being. Mr Dehne made me feel important, safe and utterly convinced that he could help me. Boy did he!! 8 weeks later, I have full extension and almost full ROM…. This would not have been possible without Mr Dehne’s intervention…life changing for me and I am forever grateful. Amazing experience… thank you! And such lovely man too.

I have been diagnosed with osteoarthritis in both knees. Because of the deterioration, Mr Dehne Recomended two partial knee replacements. I have recovered well from first operation and awaiting second op. Mr Dehne and all the team at Practice plus group Edgebaston have been amazing, they are extremely professional, welcoming and willing to answer any questions and explain in detail which has been very reassuring.

Dr Dehne explained what would happen during the surgery and the prehab process clearly. The acl reconstruction surgery itself was done as day surgery and has been life changing. I was able to walk unaided within a week and with regular physio the improvement is really rapid. I cannot recommend Dr Dehne highly enough.
