EXTREMELY GOOD HAD ONE DONE IN JANUARY AND SO GOOD WENT BACK TO DO THE OTHER ONE

One word describes everything and that is ‘excellent’. From start to finish of having two full replacement knees(in a matter of seven months and at two different hospitals ) the service and care has been exceptional. Personally, the ops have given me life changing experiences. I am able to achieve so more physically. It has been hard slog at times, and painful but if you do as your told and continue with exercise and self care it will be so worth it. I can’t thank Mr Oliver Blocker enough for everything he has done. Continue your fantastic work!! Thank you.

I attended clinic following receipt of appointment assuming it was follow up of my hip fracture trauma surgery, however on meeting with Mr Blocker I was informed that the appointment had been made due to confusion with GP regarding low calcium levels. Mr Blocker was pleased to see me and was pleased with how I had recovered and how well I was walking unaided. I couldn't have wished for a better surgeon and was reassured by his presence both before and after surgery.

All was wonderful . Everybody was so helpful ! One particular Nurse who took my dressing off made me feel very at ease and was professional , explanative and down to earth .

Just had post op check today. Any worries were thoroughly explained. I left on a high knowing I was doing everything right and I'm now so full of confidence for the future!

I had a right total hip replacement (THR) seven days ago. My joint was replaced by Mr Blocker, using the anterior approach. I was discharged from hospital less than 24 hours later following assessments by both a physiotherapist and an occupational therapist. I was on my feet only hours after the operation and within a few days, I was able to move around my home using crutches with very little difficulty. A few days ago, I experienced a spike in my temperature, which understandably made me concerned about the possibility of an infection. I got in touch, and saw Mr Blocker, who discussed my concerns with me. I am reassured knowing that I can contact Mr Blocker and his team at any time if I have any concerns. I have every confidence that they will be available to see me as soon as possible and will listen to me, assess me thoroughly, and provide any advice or treatment that may be needed.

It was a pleasure meeting Mr Blocker to discuss with and seek his opinion regarding my ongoing recovery from emergency THA surgery performed overseas. His comments were informative and valued, his explanations clear, and I look forward to having the opportunity to discuss further progress along my recovery journey in the future.

Mr Blocker was very professional in his approach, I had a problem bending my knee after surgery, he and his team couldn’t do enough to support me, arranging physiotherapy and regular reviews, I am now 7 months post surgery and pleased with the results, knee replacement is a journey, it was good to have a fantastic team with me

Visit went very well,the nurse was very helpful and Mr Blocker explained expertly the procedure of my operation and answered all my questions and concerns,I had nothing to worry about so all is good,thank you🤗

The service provided by Mr Blocker was excellent. He took the time to listen, to clearly explain the procedure and made me feel less worried about the situation I was about to face. His aftercare is second to none, checking on me after the surgery and at the follow up appointment ,answering my questions and again taking the time to explain and not rush the appointment.
