Mr Marcus Cumberbatch

Mr Marcus Cumberbatch is a leading Consultant Urological Surgeon, offering private care at Claremont Private Hospital, Thornbury Hospital, The Park Hospital and The LivingCare Group in Sheffield.

Mr Cumberbatch graduated with an MBBS from University College London in 2008, before completing Foundation Training in Nottingham, gaining early experience in vascular and orthopaedic surgery. His academic potential was recognised with an NIHR Academic Clinical Fellowship in the Yorkshire deanery, followed by an NIHR Academic Clinical Lectureship in 2018.

In 2019, he received the Ellison-Cliffe Foundation Award from the Royal Society of Medicine, enabling advanced training in Melbourne, Australia, where he developed specialist expertise in robot-assisted urological surgery and innovative prostate cancer diagnostics.

He has presented research internationally and was a member of the European Prostate Cancer Guideline Panel from 2015 to 2022.
