I was fortunate enough to be referred to Mr Hassan by another consultant gynaecologist, after a specialist MRI scan revealed significant Stage 4 deep-infiltrating endometriosis and possible adenomyosis. From the start, he was kind, patient, professional, reassuring and very knowledgeable. He listened to my concerns, made his recommendations and I had my operation just 10 days after the initial consult!! The surgery was very complex, but successful and I have made a good recovery so far. Thank you so much for giving me a new lease of life. If I ever require further surgery, I would not hesitate to come back. I would wholeheartedly recommend Mr Hassan to anyone suffering with endometriosis, adenomyosis, fibroids and/or considering a hysterectomy; he has a wealth of experience with these conditions and I trust him implicitly. I can’t recommend Mike highly enough. He helped me enormously with severe sciatica down my right leg about four years ago, and I recently returned with a new injury on my left lower back. Once again, the results were amazing, I felt a huge improvement and pain relief within the first session What really sets Mike apart is that he makes sure you are comfortable and he clearly explains what’s going on in your body. He helped me understand how stiffness in my upper back was causing my lower back to compensate, especially during backbends. He also gave me really practical, targeted exercises and stretches to strengthen my lower back, glutes, and upper back, which have made a big difference. Knowledgeable, effective, and genuinely invested in long-term recovery. I wouldn’t go anywhere else and have recommended him to all my friends.

I chose Mr Hooman Sherafat after researching his field, posts held and reviews about him. I liked his special interest in both cataract and oculoplastics surgery. I enjoyed meeting him. He is one of those special people who is both utterly professional and relaxed and honest in himself. He is very kind and patient-centred and aware that sight is precious and trust in the Consultant key. His explanations were excellent, his answers to my questions thorough and patient, and he listened carefully to my preferences. Both cataracts were removed without a hint of pain and he filled me in as he carried out the procedure. My follow up visits with him were just as excellent as was the communication and organisation by his P.A., Dodo, a very kind, competent and understanding person. I would highly recommend.

When I entered the premises I couldn’t believe the transformation that had taken place as I was familiar with the building when it was a hairdressing salon. It was spacious, immaculate and tranquil. Having been quite anxious before my appointment, I quickly relaxed as all the staff were extremely friendly and kind. All the tests were performed swiftly and smoothly with every concern for my comfort and my understanding of the procedures involved. Mrs. Matthews explained my forthcoming cataract surgery clearly, comprehensively and reassuringly and I was very pleased to be offered the surgery I such a short space of time. Positive perks - the waiting room had adjustable height chairs meaning I didn't have to struggle getting in and out of chairs! Dr Chinoy didn't judge me, or make me feel rushed or that I was an inconvenience (something I have grown accustomed to from the nhs). Despite my symptoms not fitting in with his specialities he recommended a colleague who he feels confident would be able to meet my needs. Although private care is hard on my wallet as a self funder, the advice, treatment and service I received overall made it more than worthwhile.

The therapists and dietitians are very passionate about helping patients and clearly have a genuine desire to help people. The group therapy sessions and the structure of the day was very helpful in helping my recovery. When I first came I was a bit confused about a lot of things and maybe communication in terms of meals and rules etc could be better explained in a more compassionate manner. The other patients and staff are the most wonderful lovely people and I am so grateful to have met them.
