The OCD nursing team are fantastic at what they do and the therapy team are absolutely brilliant. My 1:1 therapy was outstanding and so valuable to me during my time here. The catering team, the housekeepers, maintenance, reception.... All really friendly and professional. Two things that I want to mention that I have already fed back: 1. It was very disappointing when two team members were allocated to different wards with no transition (Greta-Mae and Carlo). I feel that when we are allowing ourselves as patients to be open and vulnerable and put our trust in people, to then be told they have moved with no transitional period is not very sensitive or fair. 2. I have also fed back about a patient that seems very unwell but does not have 1:1 supervision around the hospital. This person sometimes invades others personal space, says inappropriate and triggering things, has sometimes removed her clothing in the courtyard and I have also seen her with long sticks in her hands in the courtyard. I fed this back to the patient services manager and the board holder who agreed that this was unacceptable. I was told that until discussions have been had she should be on 1:1 care, but then the following day she was once again the courtyard thrashing round the same sticks. I think this is a safeguarding concern. Those two things aside, I have found my impatient care outstanding, I cannot fault the OCD ward team. I feel heard for the first time and have hope for my future now thanks to them. I will never forget what they have done for me.

Dr Sunmboye has been looking after me for nearly 2 years now as I have Lupus SLE which was diagnosed then at the same time I was also diagnosed with Pulmonary Artery Hypertension PAH he has been excellent from the day I met him and very empathetic and considered both my conditions also has liased with Royal Papworth Hospital Cambridge whos specialist care I am under for my PAH. He has always advised me well and made me feel at ease answered my questions to the best of his ability and given me reassurance and positive vibes and energy especially at my last visit where he gave me good news about my Lupus markers coming down this would not have been possible without him when I was very low hes made me feel safe and strong hes laughed with me and nearly cried with me at times always seems to have gone above and beyond he is an excellent consultant and I am very lucky to have him caring and looking after me. I would also like to add he thinks outside the box and looks at things with a holistic approach which is very rare now a days he makes me feel heard and always asks me if I am ok and great at listening to my crazy problems and trust me there has been many of these in past couple of years he will always take his time and never has rushed me in clinic made things easy and accessible for me like blood tests medications very knowledgeable and professional person about Lupus SLE and also knowledgeable about my PAH I have learnt so much from him and will continue to do so hopefully amazing person.

I have recently had cosmetic surgery at Sancta Maria and i genuinely would not want to go anywhere else…. I may be biased as I work at the hospital but for me regardless of who I was the staff were very professional and gave outstanding care. I always watch how every staff members provide this incredible service to other members of the public but honestly they showed me so much care and compassion throughout my surgery. The staff in all departments - especially recovery and ward as that’s where I spent my time mostly. Also Ashley in outpatients for providing me with an appointment for dressing clinic to put my mind at ease when I accidentally got my dressings wet. The doctor I had did not look through any of the files, he asked me to find my MRI results which were in fact in the pack in front of him. He then proceeded to tell me he couldnt help me with my knee injury and offered no reason or explanation as to why I would have been sent to them for a consultation. He offered no support and was quite frankly useless.
