Gavin MacPherson was professional and friendly from our very first meeting through to post surgery discussions. I was considering knee replacement surgery and he described the options and pros/cons in a very succinct yet comprehensive way to the extent that I came away feeling fully informed about the decisions that I had to make. I had no doubts that he should be the surgeon I would trust with my surgery.
Treatment went smoothly and staff explained everything as it progressed keeping me relaxed. After care was good making sure I had enough pain relief and support in the ward.
Excellent from start to finish. Only piece of some confusion was around the wording of the pre-operative assessment by telephone. It could be made more simple. Otherwise the whole experience was great. Know why the readings are required but does not help what is a sleepless first night. Do you really need a change of water at 6am?!
I had total left hip replacement and Gavin has a real calm manner, reassuring & straightforward approach so put me completely at ease.
I want to express my since gratitude to Gavin Macpherson and the entire team for the outstanding care I received throughout my recent Partial Knee operation experience. From the first consultation to the final checks, every step was handled with exceptional skill, clarity and compassion. A clear view was provided of the end-to-end procedure putting me at ease and building trust. The whole process was as good as it possibly have been . The procedure was clearly explained and there was good communication from all members of the medical team. The nursing and auxiliary staff were fantastic
