Mr Ohly explained everything at clinic before surgery including the long recovery period. After surgery he came and explained that everything went well and also on my way out of the hospital he took the time to stop and talk to myself and my husband. Made me feel that he cared and I wasn’t just a number.

I was particularly keen to have my second knee replacement carried out with the aid of a robot as my wife had this procedure for her hip replacement and this was extremely successful. I therefore set out to try and establish who appeared to have the greatest level of expertise in this field and Mr.Nick Ohly came to the fore. After various examinations I was surprised and delighted to learn that a partial replacement would be possible in my particular case. Everything was very clearly explained at all stages.

At all times, I felt very reassured by Mr Ohly, and I felt very well informed about all aspects of my surgery, pre, during, and post op. I am very happy with my new knee and his professional ability using the MAKO robotic assist has given me an excellent experience overall. Mr Ohly answered any questions I had, again both pre and post operatively and he was attentive and reassuring when he visited me in the ward.

The hip operation was a life -changing success. Five months down the line I’m back to full action - walking, swimming, cycling, fitness class and tai chi as if I had never had arthritis.

Absolutely put me at ease from our first meeting & reassured me that he could give me a better quality of life with regards to my chronic knee problem

My clinical treatment was faultless and the personnel were excellent. Only drawback to my experience was the quality of the food. Not at all as I expected and in fact rather disappointing.
