About Dr Shane Roche
Dr Shane Roche is a Consultant in General (Internal) Medicine based at Imperial College Healthcare Trust. He has more than 20 years of expertise. His goal is to create a seamless patient pathway, and he communicates quickly with GPs and other healthcare experts for the best possible patient outcome.
His areas of expertise include geriatric and general medicine; stroke; dizzy spells; falls; frailty and rehabilitation; dementia and memory impairment. He has a wide range of clinical interests and is able to manage individuals with complex requirements; he is often recommended to treat elderly people.
Dr Roche graduated from medical school in Dublin in 1980 and relocated to London in 1985 to continue his studies at Charing Cross, St Mary's Hospital, and Central Middlesex Hospital. In his current role, he is the lead of a community rehabilitation facility for the elderly. He is also an active member of the scientific community and has published several papers on Parkinson's and dementia.
