I was greeted by friendly staff at the entrance, and I was given the opportunity to have water or a coffee while I waited. Then, I was taken to my room by a staff member and different nurses guided me through the process by taking data, providing information and making sure that I was prepared for the procedure. Once it was my turn, the whole procedure ran very smoothly. I was finally taken to my room and offered a meal. Once I had my meal, I was discharged, but this part took much longer than I had expected. At all times, I was given support and reassurance if I needed it. King Edward VII's Hospital is more than recommendable for the procedure I had done, and I would expect the same from any other procedure.

The patient care in ICU was excellent but I do think the patient rooms could do with a bit of a refurb. I spent most of my stay in ICU so cannot comment on the ward services, but expect it is as exemplary as the ICU care..
