About Mr Srinivas R Samsani
Mr Srinivas R Samsani is a highly experienced consultant orthopaedic surgeon specialising in hip and knee replacement surgery. With over 18 years of expertise, he is recognised as one of the leading specialists in hip and knee replacement surgery in Kent.
After completing postgraduate orthopaedic training at the renowned St Thomas’ and Guy’s Hospital rotation in London in 2005, Mr Samsani pursued advanced fellowship training in Melbourne, Australia. There, he gained expertise in minimally invasive hip replacements, revision surgery (corrective surgery for failed joint replacements), and computer-assisted hip and knee replacement techniques. Since 2006, he has been practising as a consultant at Medway NHS Foundation Trust, where he serves as the lead revision hip surgeon.
Mr Samsani is known for his skill in managing complex cases, such as failed metal-on-metal hip replacements, and is a pioneer in enhanced recovery pathways for hip surgery. He also performs partial and total knee replacements, knee arthroscopies (keyhole surgery), and minimally invasive hip procedures.

I’ve had full knee replacement, got a arthritis in my knee due to a accident July 2025 injuring my knee & ribs , I was told the cartilage had possibly split which had accelerated my knee bones hitting each other causing extreme pain , had surgery June 15/06/2026 , pain has pretty much gone & am extremely happy with the outcome I’m working hard with exercises to get it working fully again .
