Knee arthroscopy at Spire Hartswood - whole experience was excellent, cannot fault anything. Meniscus tear was described as "quite large". Mr Waheed carried out the procedure & within a day I was back to practically normal. No significant swelling or pain.
I would thoroughly recommend Mr Waheed to anyone considering a knee replacement surgery. Both consultations before and after surgery were thorough and fully explained and I had every confidence in him. He took time to explain the procedure and allay any fears I had. I am very happy with my new knee which was done 6 weeks ago and I am already feeling the benefits of my new knee.
I have been extremely satisfied with the care I have from received from Mr Waheed during for the recent appointments and for the inpatient admission for a left hip replacement. Mr Waheed has taken time to explain my results and has arranged for timely follow up care.
Mr Waheed clearly explained my procedure. I was booked in for a unicompartmental knee replacement, which could possibly be converted to a full knee. He explained exactly what would be assessed and gave me confidence in my upcoming op.
Mr Waheed was very friendly and professional and I did not feel rushed at all. He explained everything clearly and answered all my questions in detail. I was especially pleased that he agreed to have a look at my other hip in a few months.
