About Springfield Hospital
Our hospital is conveniently located on the outskirts of Chelmsford with plenty of free parking onsite. The hospital has an excellent reputation for delivering high quality healthcare for patients who are self-funding treatment, patients with health insurance, or NHS patients exercising choice through the e-referral system. We are proud to work with over 200 of the most experienced and qualified consultants locally, most of whom also have substantive posts within the NHS. Our consultants are supported by a team of highly skilled and friendly nursing staff who have your care and comfort as their highest priority and our Resident Medical Officer who is on site 24 hours a day.

Everything about my visit to the Springfield Hospital was handled excellently, all staff were extremely attentive and I was confident that I was in safe hands.
Easy parking at 5:30pm (usually congested during earlier times). Reception staff took private patients excess payment, which made things easy. Pleasant reception from consultation, and quick examination concluding the operation had been extremely successful- after having expectations 'managed' with explabation ofmultiple potential complications preoperative. Very relieved and content.

I had a wonderful experience at Springfield Hospital from start to finish. Every member of staff I came across was kind, caring and professional. The nurses were especially lovely and always took the time to listen, answer my questions and make sure I was comfortable. I felt well looked after throughout my stay and was kept informed every step of the way, which really helped put my mind at ease. The hospital was clean and well maintained, and the facilities were excellent. Everyone treated me with kindness and respect, and I can't thank the team enough for the care I received during my hysterectomy and recovery. I would highly recommend Springfield Hospital to anyone needing treatment.
