I had a disappointing experience with Mr Hussain where after 2 appointments I felt the need to get a second opinion from a specialist. We spoke about how I potentially had endometriosis and in my first appointment Mr Hussain asked if I had any questions. As it was my first time hearing the news I didn't have much to ask until after I had processed everything he had explained and read the leaflet he sent me away with. It was in my second appointment that I came back with questions after speaking to my partner regarding things like fertility and plans moving forward that I asked Mr Hussain some more specific things related to my case. His response was, 'did you read the leaflet I gave you' and made it sound like I was wasting his time. Not only this, but at multiple points after my ultrasound and my physical exam he said it wasn't 'that severe'. What also made me uneasy was that his continued suggested plan was to go on birth control even after I specifically said I had had bad experiences with it in the past. Fast forward a few months after seeing another specialist, I had an MRI done (which Mr Hussain never suggested, despite it being part of the endometriosis pathway) and a laparoscopy which discovered stage 3/4 endometriosis. I hope others have a better experience than I did, as unfortunately I felt like I wasn't being listened to and felt very belittled during our interactions.
Really helpful. Made us feel at ease, and very thorough. Clear path forward.
Dr Hussain was very kind and friendly. I felt comfortable discussing personal issues with him.

I saw Mr Hussain to discuss treatment options around my endometriosis and adenomyosis diagnosis. He was very knowledgeable, answered all my questions and put my mind at ease. We discussed the management of my PMOS as well which was helpful and enabled me to see that I was doing the right things. He was very proactive and understanding of my concerns.
Very friendly and professional. Was welcoming and made us feel reassured that he will do everything to assist.
