Mr Munawar Hussain is a consultant gynaecologist with RCOG subspecialist accreditation in reproductive medicine and keyhole surgery. He is a BMS-accredited specialist in menopause and HRTmanagement. With over twenty years of experience in the field, Mr Hussain offers a complete and thorough approach to his patients and provides expert management of conditions such as heavy painful periods, menstrual irregularities, pelvic pain, endometriosis, ovarian cysts, Fibroids uterus, polycystic ovarian syndrome, recurrent miscarriages, menopause and management of infertility.

He is expert to perform laparoscopic (keyhole) hysterectomy, laparoscopic removal of ovarian cysts, Laparoscopic treatment of endometriosis and Hysteroscopic surgery for polyps, fibroids and endometrial ablation.

Mr. Hussain also offers expert advice for couples struggling to conceive and is able to manage male fertility problems such as low sperm count and female infertility due to PCOS, tubal blockage, fibroids, or endometriosis and IVF/ICSI/IUI treatment if reqired.

Mr Hussain first qualified in 1997 with his MBBS from Islamia University with distinctions before going on to train in London and Bristol and achieved a distinction in his master's degree in reproduction and development. Mr Hussain is also actively involved in research and has published his work in a number of reputable journals. He is also currently involved in delivering training with the Health Education East of England, with the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists and British fertility Society.
