About Mr Barry Whitlow
Specialising in pelvic pain and endometriosis (heavy, painful periods, pain with interourse, pain defaecating when menstruating). Mr Whitlow receives tertiary referrals from many other consultants in the country. He leads the Endometriosis centre in Colchester (dealing with severe deeply infiltrating disease and was one of the first peer approved centres of excellence in the UK in 2008) and often excises deep endometriosis to improve pain and fertility outcomes. He is also registered with the BSCCP and regularly deals with abnormal smears / colposcopy.
