My first appointment with Dr James Thing went very well though I had to phone the clinic to say that I would be late for my appointment since the taxi broke down on the way. I arrived at the clinic with my husband 15 minutes late, but I was seen by Dr Thing without further delay. He told us that there was a patient who was on hour late on that day perhaps due to the cold weather. Dr Thing checked my medical details, my knee conditions in both legs, examined my knees carefully before looking them closely on the screen. I had bilateral Ostenil Plus Knee injections while the doctor was guided by Ultrasound Scan to insert the needles into the exact area of my knees. I had a little sensation when the needles were inserted but it was done in a gentle manner that I was feeling alright throughout the time of insertion. The whole procedure went smoothly and the doctor said he would see me in a year's time. In the meantime I was to take it easy and rest well for my knees to heal and he would write me an email in three weeks' time to see how I was doing.

I was very apprehensive about my diagnosis and procedure but Dr. Pareek was so reassuring and make me at ease . He is so skilled and and clever that what he said at the clinical consultation was correct and I am so impressed. The procedure was quick . I didn't know even a thing .From the moment I arrived , I was so impressed by the professionalism , kindness and efficiency of staff. The nurses and the support staff were so compassionate and attentive. The ward environment was clean and welcoming and I appreciate the five star care given to me and I noticed this for other patients too while I was wating. Please extend my thanks to everyone involved in my care . Dr Pareek and the team dedication and commitment to patient wellbeing made significant difference to my experience . Thank you again to every one in the unit. I do also think there is a good leadership behind the scene to make this happen in good patients care and the well run unit.

Asked to be 15 mins early for scan, but then not called until 30 mins or so after time of appointment without any prior indication of running late (perhaps because it was at 6pm ). Head scanner was still busy so junior radiologer kindly chatted to me for 15 mins after I'd changed to kill time. Having been told it would take 15 mins, scan took about 45 mins and team forgot to talk to me or put music on despite me saying I was a bit claustrophic (but can get by ok). Then at 8pm, no doubt in rush to scan next person, they didn't remove cannula so i wandered around to find another staff member to do that who happily obliged. Not a major problem but not up to Cleveland usual standards. Staff were all very friendly though, but perhaps clinic shouldn't book in patients at end of day if they can't really handle them properly.

My wait time was excellent, I was seen ahead of my appointment time. The individual who picked me up to take me to the MRI was very friendly and kind. Unfortunately, that’s when things got somewhat awkward. The actual MRI attendant who was in charge of asking me the safety questions in advance found herself having a disagreement with a member of staff on another ward whilst with me. I understand that people are overworked and underpaid - resourcing has always been an issues (I have worked for the NHS), however, having an argument over who would tend to someone being seen after me is something that should not have happened infront of me. A joke was made of it when she hung up the phone but it was incredibly uncomfortable for me.

I’m so grateful to have had the most amazing experience with Eugene as my consultant. He was so kind and welcoming and made me feel at ease from start to finish. He did his absolute best to meet my birth preferences and made me feel really comfortable and listened to. I ended up needing an emergency c-section which was a huge fear of mine but it couldn’t have gone better. The surgery was quick and comfortable, and it was a beautiful, happy experience. My healing process was virtually painless and my scar looks so neat and tidy, i could not fault this birthing experience at all. Mr Dobson saw me recently for ongoing pain I have had in my right knee. He had looked after me previously for a skiing injury to the same knee and I fully trusted his expertise in a new issue. He was extremely polite and professional and diagnosed a medial meniscal tear. My investigations were prompt and he went out of his way to find a treatment date that was convenient for me. I’m now 3 months post arthroscopic debridment and microfracture and I am pain free with full movement and have started running and training again. Couldn’t be happier with the treatment and fully recommend him!

What can I say about Ms Warner, she has been such a big help to me not only medically but she has calmed me down when another hospital had no idea what to do with my condition she broke everything down and has made me feel so comfortable with the whole process. I visited twice due to a stiffness in my neck. Rey was exceptionally friendly from the start and I felt I was listened to and he understood the issues I had been experiencing. I was very happy with the treatment feeling a notable difference minutes after the first session. They really do give good customer service and will not try to add extra, unnecessary sessions to get more money - my treatment lasted two sessions, and I was told to listen to my body and get back in contact if and when I need to. I will definitely be going back, even if it’s just for a quick readjustment.

My partner and I came to the Agora for a fertility assessment as we've been trying to conceive for a couple of years. The doctor was kind in explaining our results and gave a clear plan of what they recommend moving forwards. I chose the clinic based on the good reviews and we are so happy that we did. All the staff we have come across have been very nice and answered any questions that we had. We feel comfortable choosing the Agora for IVF even though this is an unknown road ahead, i feel supported.

ICU I was treated like an animal left under the cold AC in a cramped room, the ICU nurse was on her phone taking ages to come to help when you press the call bell. The nurse team is the worst I’ve experienced in my life I genuinely thought I was going to die in this hospital they don’t respect you ethically unsafe and keep you in prolonged pain for days
