Every time I come for an outpatient appt, the specialist is an hour behind time.. the secretary/receptionist should have called ahead of time to expect delays but they don’t!! They leave it till the time of the appt to mention the hefty delay!! Last time I had to leave as I could not wait out an hr delay! So complete waste of my time & money grrr! Something that could easily be rectified with better communication from the clinic!! Including the fact when I had an outpatient procedure, I had a 2.45hrs delay as there was a delay due to an emergency in the morning.. again no contact from the clinic informing me of this delay.. had I been informed earlier before arriving at my appt which was scheduled at 1pm, I didn’t not have the procedure till 3.45!! Had there been communication from your clinic informing me of the delay I would have left home later and not have left the dogs alone for 8hrs due to the clinics inability to keep patients informed of delays!! Grrr! Every single time due to lack of communication I’m left frustrated and angry!

This was my first visit to this lovely private GP practice. Lots of parking and ground floor facility was the first tick. Lovely big bright windows another tick creating brightness in what is usually not available in most other medical establishments. No sooner on the door I was greeted with smiles and courtesy from the lovely, friendly receptionists who welcomed me and offered me refreshments. Plenty of books and magazines if I wanted but didn't need them as I was taken at my exact appointment time, another big tick. My GP, Dr Fiona Moore came out to greet me and as I'd completed an online form with my reason for attending she was on the ball with what was required. She was so relaxed and friendly I felt like I'd known her for a long time and I felt at ease answering any questions. Having examined me she knew what the issue was and reassured me. Overall a brilliant experience.

I had a recent admission for a Discectomy under the care of Mr Manoj-Thomas. The entire experience from initial appointment to the actual surgery was just over 6 weeks. During this time I received regular communication to prepare me for my surgery. I was overwhelmed by the high standard of care I received as an in patient from the nursing and medical team. All professionals were courteous calm and maintained my dignity and trust during an anxious time and I am incredibly grateful. My follow up care is continuing and I was very impressed with the phone call I received 2 days post discharge to ensure I was continuing to recover. St Joseph’s epitomises the experience all patients should receive irrespective of whether they are private or NHS patients. Thank you so much.

I came to see Naz because I kept having problems with my lower wisdom tooth. Naz examined, took an x-ray and was very honest, explaining that taking out the tooth would be too risky. Instead, she advised a coronectomy, where only the crown of the tooth is removed so that the symptoms would go away and I could look after the area better. Naz was super gentle when taking out the crown of the tooth…. Apart from a few vibrations, I felt nothing…. Not even the injection. Her nurse was always reassuring me and making sure I was comfortable. The communication between them was as if they had been working together for years. I felt like I was in safe hands. Thank you 💕

Both Mr. Rajaratnam and the physiotherapist that visited me at home ( not the hospital physio's) strongly emphasized not to do any strengthening exercises for the first few weeks but restrict myself to just bending the knee aiming to get a 130 degree bend after 3 weeks. Heating the wound with a hot water bottle helped to loosen up the knee prior to doing this exercise. This was contrary to what the physiotherapists in the hospital were advocating , Anyway after 6 weeks I can bend the operated knee almost as much as I can the other one and I'm walking normally and I am now starting on strengthening exercises.

Mr Corbett was very friendly , examined my shoulder and then gave me a very clear explanation of what could be causing the pain. I have spinal issues too and Mr Corbett took these fully into account, even including my spinal neurosurgeon in on his clinic letter to me, which was in my email in box by the time i got home 1 hr after my appointment !!! this is very helpful for me as im finding it hard to type. I have a scan over the weekend - Thursday today - then a review with Mr Corbett with scan results on monday morning. Amazing . Very good medical care , fast and focused . Very Highly Recommended by me.

The receptionist and the nurse were lovely. However, the consultant made me feel like I wasn’t heard at all, I didn’t really get to talk about anything I wanted to talk about because every time I tried to I was cut off and told I would have to speak to someone else about that but I was confused as I was speaking about the issue I was there for. I also felt like I was penalised for my gp making a mistake and did feel very uncomfortable by the end of the consultation. Which made me quite sad as this is an issue I’ve been dealing with for a couple of years and I feel like I’m still getting no where with it.

Mr V was my consultant for a foot/ankle problem. I’d visited him for a second opinion as I felt my original consultant was not taking my problem seriously. Mr V instantly made me feel heard and understood. Mr V’s explanations using models were clear and helped me understand what I was experiencing. He also laid out the options of treatment in a balanced way, making me feel as though it was my choice, and that he supported whatever choice I made. He was also very clear what I needed to do post treatment to fully recover and avoid the issue reoccurring.

I have been treated at MansMatters clinic for Peyronies. I must admit I was very skeptical about the treatment offered, as I'm sure a lot of men in my position are. Your predecessor (not Dr Wamuo, who was brilliant with me over the phone) mentioned there was absolutely nothing to do with osteoarthritis. I can take the truth, but that sounded rather definite for something that involves inflammation. Thanks for at least trying something and advising physio and turmeric. I very much appreciate it.

Oh my Davide was fantastic for our gender scan. We got to see way more than we anticipated, its little arms, legs, everything was explained to us, got to hear the heartbeat and have a usb to keep the memories. I highly recommend a private scan. We are planning to come back around 26 weeks and maybe again in the 30s as it can be quite some time between scans on NHS. Honestly highly recommend, friendly, open to questions and amazingly professional! Thank you!
