Professor Kiran graduated from Madras Medical College before completing rigorous, world-class orthopaedic training in the UK and Germany. During his postgraduate Masters degree (MCh(Orth)) at the University of Dundee, he was awarded the prestigious Ian Smillie Award for Academic Excellence.

He completed highly competitive lower limb reconstruction and complex trauma fellowships across renowned medical centers in both the UK and Germany. A dedicated academic, Professor Kiran has published over 30 papers in international, peer-reviewed medical journals and delivered more than 50 invited lectures worldwide. He actively shapes the future of surgery by lecturing for the Royal College of Surgeons and teaching FRCS candidates.
