I waited over an hour to be seen for my pre admission appointment. After being admitted and been shown to my room I was left for 5 hours in a cold room without anyone checking on me or giving me information about when my operation would be. Staff only turned up when I called and was then able to get some water as I was then advised that my operation was being delayed for a few hours. Short staffed. Slow to respond to buzzer calls. Staff always seemed to be busy doing something else other than looking after patients. Quite noisy ward during the day with people’s loud voices/laughing. Outdated facilities, no overhead bed light so had to have the main big room lights on all the time, which I could not control. I was moved to a different room after my operation as the first one did not have sufficient heating. The en-suite bathrooms are very outdated. Very short shower hose. In my second room there were 2 Rentokill boxes in shower. 50% of staff were friendly. I had major abdominal surgery. My night nurse was very compassionate and took very good care of me for 2 nights. I was discharged with the insufficient amount of painkillers to take home and without a physio assessment or much information about what symptoms to look out for and how to help recovery. I had to contact my own GP to get enough painkillers. Once discharged I had to walk with my husband all the way to the car at the pickup parking as there was no porter or wheelchair available. I had given 1h notice and then let her know again 10minutes before my husband arrived to collect me.

We have had an excellent experience with Dr Zeeshan, he has been very caring towards my daughter’s eczema care. Very through with tests and fast response to results. My daughter had very a very emotional journey with her eczema on her hand which caused her lots of anxiety going out. Family and friends constantly asking her about her hand. With two appointments with dr Zeeshan and some skin test his was able to subscribe her ointments that had helped clear her hand and she has become a happier person which means the world to us. As she suffered this for four years with her GP not really achieving any cure witch steroids. Very happy we have met dr Zeeshan his always able to listen and takes care with every information he advises ensuring we understand Thankyou dr Zeeshan🙏🏻 We wish to add his secretary Miriam Lardner is A1 never met a secretary with so much empathy professionalism and who is so prompt in her email responses. She is so easy to get hold of and tries to assist every patient as best as she can it’s an amazing team Thankyou Miriam for all your support during this journey for my daughter🙏🏻

From first contacting my GP who could have referred me to a podiatrist but asked me to decide on whether it was appropriate (a decision for which I have no expertise to make) in late May it took over 3 months to see Mr Qasim (via TIMS during which I obtained no advice to go back to GP to get podiatrist referral, but instead a referral to Mr Qasim for steroid injection). However, the podiatrist at Freeman said steroid was no longer suitable due to second toe having developed a hammer deformity by then (mid-November). I think I should have been referred straight to Freeman, not via TIMS and Mr Qasim because I had months of delay and pain while I waited, thus affecting my ability to do my job as a nurse.

On arrival the receptionist was really friendly. I checked my details then went for to see the consultant Mr Sherif (not sure on spelling) he was efficient and professional and his nurse was really friendly. Then the mammogram with a really lovely technician. She was friendly and gentle and told me what she was doing each and every step. Then a short wait of about 10 minutes and off to the ultrasound which was carried out by friendly and professional staff. Then my final stop back to see the consultant “the Sherif” ! Where he delivered the good news followed by some advice. What a super friendly and efficient service! Can’t fault it Xx

I arrived at 7.30am to get booked in & ready for my procedure. Was taken to my room to get changed & was taken down before 8.30am. Everything ran very smoothly & Dr.O'Donnell was very professional & talked me through everything that he was doing. Dr O'Donnell reassured me & was very fast & efficient. I couldn't recommend him enough as he is brilliant at what he does. The nurses were very nice too. When I got back to my room I got a cuppa & a scone & I was out of hospital & on way home just after 9am. I would highly recommend Dr.O'Donnell as he is so professional & made me feel at ease. Thankyou for all you're help.

I had an excellent experience with Dr. Himanshu Wadhawan. As a gastroenterology specialist, his experience is evident from the first consultation. He was incredibly thorough in walking me through the entire treatment process, which put my mind at ease. I underwent an endoscopy arranged by his team; the entire procedure was handled with the utmost professionalism. Most importantly, the results after following his treatment plan have been excellent. I can’t recommend Dr. Wadhawan enough for anyone seeking expert gastroenterologist care.

Mr Taylor has been my son’s ophthalmologist since he was 8 weeks old. He has always given me very clear explanations regarding my son’s vision and the possible complications surrounding it. He’s always kind and compassionate and really listens when I’m explaining what I see at home. My sons vision is particularly complex due to multiple disabilities which makes everything that bit harder, but Mr Taylor always goes above and beyond to do what he can, within the parameters of my sons capability.

Joshua started by reviewing how I was and I showed him the exercises he'd taught me. Then he asked my opinion on what I felt was important to target next and helped with exercises for that. He also made a video on my phone of an exercise, talking me through it, so I could remember it. Unfortunately I don't live locally so can't access his expertise on a regular basis.

I felt the physio and rehabilitation was excellent. It would help to have the same team more regularly as per the information but I realise that because of ‘flu it was not possible Some locus on Daturdau were good. One useless The hospital experience other than the rehab was nothing like as good as the Princess Grace and left alot to be desired
