Had a very warm welcoming at Abbington house, staff and peers were very nice. Room was nice, quite overwhelming to start with, with it being my first time at rehab. I then started to feel more comfortable with the help of the staff and my peers, putting me out of my comfort zone probably was the best thing they could of done otherwise I wouldn’t of been so open. Staff very accommodating, my therapist was very empathetic, I got on with her very well, opened up slowly but eventually we got there. I still feel I have stuff to work on, my co dependency and self love but I know that will come in time, from outside sources, just think they should not of mentioned that I would be getting DBT therapy whilst I was here as that was one of the selling points to me coming to Abbington house. The only other down side was prior to coming in I was told I would have at least one, one to one a week. But that did not happen for the the first 3 weeks, so felt a bit let down, so did my parents which they then raised there concerned to Mikey, who was quick to come up with 2 options to compensate this, which I thought was very good.

The Joint Injection Clinic

A month ago I had the arthrosamid injection. I had never heard of it and initially I went online to find out how others were treating their oesteoarthritis. I found the Joint Clinic quite quickly and was amazed to read that this injection would last about 3 years rather than 3 months for the NHS cortisol injection. My knee was causing a lot of pain especially when the weather changed. I was unable to walk properly, I couldn't walk up or down stairs. My work involves walking and I really thought I would have to retire because of the pain. From day 2 of the injection, I was beginning to walk without as much pain, about 2 weeks later I wasn't limping or experiencing pain at all. It took about 3 weeks to be able to walk up and down stairs without pain. I no longer need anti inflammatory drugs (that was always hit or miss if they would work). I am very pleased with the outcome at the one month mark and I hope my knee pain is no more for years!

I have been seeing Yasemin for years and cannot recommend her highly enough. I have seen her for Botox/Profihlo treatments and the results have been nothing short of exceptional. Everything she does looks incredibly natural—never overdone—just a fresher, healthier version of me. The results last beautifully, and I honestly wouldn’t trust anyone else with my face. She is an absolute pleasure to visit: warm, reassuring, and truly skilled. Her precision and professionalism are unmatched, and she always takes the time to listen to my wishes and concerns. I also really appreciate her follow-up care; it shows how much she genuinely cares about her patients. If you’re looking for subtle, natural, long-lasting results, I cannot recommend her highly enough. More recently I have also seen her for a small surgical procedure, to remove a suspicious mole. Again, she operated on me with the utmost care and I couldn’t have asked for a better result.

Dr. Jayaram has been very kind, professional and attentive throughout the consultation and was very thorough when examining my eyes. He was reassuring as he explained the medical condition of my eyes in clear and simple terms and the options that may be available to me in the future. He as very patient in having to repeat things to me. I really appreciated his excellent manner. He made me feel at ease. I would highly recommend Dr. Jayaram. If in the future I need to reassurance I am looking for, I would definitely arrange to see Dr. Jayaram again. I also received the report of my consultation the same evening. Ms Maddie Kurri the practice manager was excellent throughout in communicating with me and arranging my appointment. Thank you both. The hospital very clean and orderly. The staff at the main reception desk were very friendly and helpful and also the nurse who I saw on arrival you did my initial tests.

Overall this was a good experience, I had a combined assessment via NHS right to choose. I liked that I was seen in person for this. The wait times were much longer than initially expected however I believe there was a huge influx of patients at the same time that I was referred. The assessments themselves were good with understanding and knowledgeable assessors. The report which I have received is in depth although I did think there may be a professionals insight into the early developmental questionnaire whereas it is just copied into the report. I had a few queries about the report which I am waiting on the answer to and also have asked for it to be sent to my GP which hasn't been done yet but again, this is the lacking wait times. Apart from the wait times, the service was great and I am thankful for their help. I think my referral was made in March 2025 and I am writing this review in December 2025.

This was my first visit to this lovely private GP practice. Lots of parking and ground floor facility was the first tick. Lovely big bright windows another tick creating brightness in what is usually not available in most other medical establishments. No sooner on the door I was greeted with smiles and courtesy from the lovely, friendly receptionists who welcomed me and offered me refreshments. Plenty of books and magazines if I wanted but didn't need them as I was taken at my exact appointment time, another big tick. My GP, Dr Fiona Moore came out to greet me and as I'd completed an online form with my reason for attending she was on the ball with what was required. She was so relaxed and friendly I felt like I'd known her for a long time and I felt at ease answering any questions. Having examined me she knew what the issue was and reassured me. Overall a brilliant experience.

Dr Laura takes her time to explain everything to me, and she even manages to teach me some medical stuff considering I am a medical student! She is always keen to involve my family and ensure I am fully supported. She has helped me navigate several gynaecology conditions that I have recently been investigated for and diagnosed with. She continues to follow up with me and ensure I am well looked after. She looks at me from head to toe and listens to each of my concerns, no matter what they are, with compassion. She is a true angel who I was blessed with to have as my doctor. I will always sing her praises she is truly phenomenal. I am beyond lucky to have her looking after me. She is my inspiration for when I graduate and become a doctor.

The initial consultation was an evening appointment and I considered it to be expensive. The consultants fee (Dr Kadhim) was £250 (equating to £1000 per hour) Administration fee £35 (for what) and an e.c.g which took all of 5 minutes was £111. Total £396. I was promised by the consultant that Cardioversion would happen before my holiday in mid December but received excuses from admin staff why this could not happen. I kept pestering and eventually received notice at 3.00pm the day before that Cardioversion would occur at 07.30 the following morning. The actual Cardioversion went without hitch, the consultant Dr Menown and his staff were excellent, facilities were good, food was ample and all went well. So do not take no for an answer.

I first met Miss Taylor in December 24 as I was suffering with excruciating gynaecological symptoms. Miss Taylor almost instantly gave me the answers I was hoping for after 4 years of pain and NHS dismal. I had always felt so comfortable with Miss Taylor and felt reassured within her care. Yesterday I had my laparoscopy for Endometriosis and Miss Taylor accommodated me so much as I was extremely nervous and had been putting the surgery off due to nerves. I had received what was probably the best care I’ve ever experienced and I successfully had my endometriosis and adenoymosis answers. I really can’t recommend Miss Taylor enough. I received great treatment, including a successful Greater Occipital Nerve (GON) block, in the period leading up to my pregnancy. Now that I am pregnant, Dr. Maniyar has expertly tailored my ongoing treatment to ensure its safety and effectiveness. His approach is brilliant, working in perfect, complementary coordination with my NHS Obstetrician. It is deeply reassuring to have such an expert managing my condition during this critical time.

I had an urgent issue with my back and Ms. Aamina Saeed was able to book me in right away. She was incredibly professional and attentive from the moment I arrived. Her massage, cupping, and use of the power gun were all excellent, and she immediately understood where my trigger points were without me having to explain much. I felt truly cared for and in very capable hands. She is efficient, skilled, and highly knowledgeable.
