About Mayfair Health
At Mayfair Health, we specialise in the assessment and treatment of sports and musculoskeletal injuries, taking a truly holistic approach to patient care. Our multidisciplinary team includes Physiotherapists, Osteopaths, Massage Therapists, Pilates Instructors, Personal Trainers, and Nutritionists who work together to optimise recovery, movement, and long-term health.
We pride ourselves on delivering thorough diagnostic assessments and designing comprehensive rehabilitation programmes that address not only the symptoms but also the underlying causes of injury. Our focus extends beyond recovery — we are dedicated to improving our patients’ healthspan by enhancing movement quality, strength, and overall function.
Every patient undergoes a detailed clinical assessment, allowing our expert team to develop a personalised treatment plan tailored to their specific needs and goals. Treatment may include a combination of manual therapy, neural mobilisation, joint manipulation, acupuncture, dry needling, and structured rehabilitation exercises.
We also have extensive experience supporting patients who have not responded to previous conservative or surgical treatments, helping them restore function and return confidently to their daily activities and sport.
Our team is led by Simon Gilchrist, an Australian physiotherapist with over 27 years of clinical experience. Simon has worked with a wide range of international athletes, including professional tennis players, footballers, and champion jockeys, and has been involved with the Australian Olympic team. He regularly lectures at the Royal College of Surgeons and is a co-author of several publications in sports medicine.

I’ve had a great experience with Nicole at Mayfair Physio. I went in with issues affecting both my jaw and knee, and she has been consistently professional, knowledgeable, and attentive. Nicole carried out a thorough assessment and explained everything clearly, which really put me at ease. Her treatment plan felt very tailored to my needs, and I’ve already noticed a clear improvement in my symptoms. Rachel is first class as a physio. She listened carefully to everything I told her about my symptoms and I explained I wanted to be able to swim properly again. She explained her plan to get me back in the pool and the acupuncture she did eased my pain tremendously. The exercises she took me through to do at home clearly made a difference. I can’t thank her enough for helping me. I’m now stronger than ever and swimming faster than I did before.
