Gina Haynes is a South African-trained physiotherapist and APPI Pilates instructor who relocated to London in 2018. She has a strong clinical interest in musculoskeletal and sports-related injuries and conditions, with particular expertise in hypermobility and chronic pain. Gina has completed extensive training in manual therapy and movement control, which she integrates into her day-to-day clinical practice.
She is passionate about helping people move their bodies correctly to reduce pain, improve function, and enhance sporting performance. Having always led an active lifestyle herself and participated in a wide range of sporting and recreational activities, Gina understands that confidence in movement does not come naturally to everyone. Her aim is to support individuals in developing greater body awareness, confidence, and ease in movement, regardless of their starting point.
Gina strongly believes in the power of movement to heal both the mind and body. Her sessions focus on correct technique, reducing movement- and exercise-related anxiety, and building confidence in one’s own physical abilities, all within a safe, supportive, and encouraging environment. She uses Pilates as a key tool to correct movement patterns, improve stability and control, and reduce pain, recognising its value both for optimising everyday function and as a complement to other sporting activities.
As a sensitive and hypermobile person herself, Gina has a deep personal understanding of the challenges movement can present. This insight informs her empathetic approach, with the goal of improving quality of life and helping people gain greater control over their bodies so they can function at their best.

Seen a lot of physios in my days, mainly for my back problem. She is hands down the best! No one has been able to find the reason for my back issue until I met her, now I've been almost pain-free for two months! She's a gem!
Very knowledgeable and pragmatic approach that has helped resolve year long back pain in a matter of weeks. Very detailed orientated and addresses the route cause rather than the symptoms.
Gina is an excellent physio - knowledgeable and clearly experienced, but also wonderfully approachable and easy to talk to. I really appreciate that she really listens, taking the time to understand rather than jumping straight to a generic treatment plan. Her care and patience make a real difference, especially when you’re dealing with something that’s been affecting your day-to-day life. Highly recommend!
Gina is an exceptional physiotherapist who has focused on ensuring I build confidence, flexibility and strength to return to a full range of activities following full knee replacement. Utilising a wide range of available facilities from reformer pilates, gym machine strength building and flexibility and stretching exercises to re-establish balance, coordination and safe and sustainable recovery. The bespoke program focuses on encouraging advancement and realising the benefits as a result of the surgery.
It’s an absolute delight to work with Gina, always present and prompt and sensitive and adapts to my needs on the day
As per my previous comments, Gina is highly experienced, professional and personable. She is the best physio I have seen in London. Strongly recommend.
Gina is a fantastic physio. I had seen dozens of professionals before seeing her and she helped me get rid of the worst of my pain in only a few sessions.
All my visits are great. I try to never miss one. Gina keeps me going!! I think I’m in pretty good shape for my age because of her.
Gina has been helping me get back to normal after a cycling incident. She has been utterly transformative to my life, taking me from "can't walk for five minutes" to being back running and cycling within a couple of months.
