Dr Ranjan Suri

Dr Ranjan Suri is a Consultant in Paediatric Respiratory Medicine at Great Ormond Street Hospital. He has also worked at leading respiratory centres in the UK, including the Royal Brompton Hospital and the Royal London Hospital, as well as at the Royal Children’s Hospital in Melbourne, Australia.

Dr Suri specialises in the diagnosis and management of the full spectrum of paediatric respiratory conditions. His clinical expertise includes the treatment of asthma, recurrent wheeze in infants, chronic cough, recurrent and severe respiratory infections, and sleep-disordered breathing. He also provides care for children with complex and chronic respiratory disorders, including cystic fibrosis.

In addition to his clinical work, Dr Suri is actively engaged in clinical research in paediatric respiratory medicine, with a particular focus on long-term and chronic respiratory conditions. His research activity complements his role in providing advanced diagnostic and treatment pathways for children with complex respiratory disease at local, tertiary and international levels.

Through his consultant role at Great Ormond Street Hospital, Dr Suri continues to combine specialist clinical practice, academic research, and service development within paediatric respiratory medicine.
