Dr Winter always has a calm, welcoming and caring manner. He was genuinely concerned about my welfare during my review and made me feel at ease and unhurried. He is the ultimate professional and I recommend him very highly.

When i learned what my treatment plan would involve, Professor Winter came highly recommended. From the very first time we spoke, Matt went out of his way to ensure I understood every step of the treatment process, breaking it down into manageable and clear explanations, which was super helpful given how much I needed to take in. Throughout my treatment journey, Matt was exceptionally thorough in making sure all the necessary tests were done and he kept me updated on any developments. When I received my diagnosis it was extremely difficult for me to work through initially, however having Matt as my Oncologist and the support he gave really helped me navigate what I needed to do. I always feel comfortable asking questions, even if I was unsure about something, as Matt was very open and honest with me from the start. Matt's approach made such difficult time, more manageable and im extremely grateful for the care and empathy I received. Huge thank you to Professor Winter and his team of amazing nurses, who looked after me and laughed with me throughout the many months of treatment I received.

Prof Winter has been overseeing my breast cancer treatment since January 2023. He has always been kind, compassionate, caring as well as being professional, knowledgeable and competent. Prof Winter explained my treatment plan with patience and listened to any concerns. I could not recommend Prof Winter highly enough.

Prof Winter is an exceptional Oncologist and here is why. His approach to patient (me!) care is individual and collaborative, which is very important during a complex cancer recovery path. Technical medical jargon is translated into easier to understand information and problems and questions met with practical person centred answers and solutions. Prof Winter acknowledges the whole (person) as part of treatment, which fits perfectly with my own holistic approach to healing.

Prof Winter is lovely. He explains everything thoroughly, and makes enough time as is needed, no question is dismissed and he will do, and has done, his absolute best to do everything to make my treatment go as smoothly as possible. He has also taken the time outside of my. Chemotherapy or any other scheduled appointment to ring me with news of scan and test results. I cannot fault him at all and would highly recommend him to anyone seeking cancer treatment. Thank you Matt!

Matt is always very thorough and does everything possible to ally any concerns. He explains everything clearly and has an excellent manner.

This is the first time we have been to Dr Matt and we found very easy to communicate and very friendly. We didn’t have any fear to ask any questions. All the questions were asked with detail information. Also sent a letter next day detailing all what we discussed. On the next day we got a follow up call and gave more clarity about the letter.
