I waited far too long before booking this appointment and am so pleased I chose Dr Michelle Macintosh. I chose her as I needed help following treatment for breast cancer including Letrozole that affected my quality of life. She was so caring, listened to my concerns and gave me time to talk through all my symptoms. She is highly competent and has given me a solid treatment plan including up to date treatment options that I didn’t know were available. Highly recommended.

After years of being dismissed by doctors, I finally bit the bullet and went down the private route in 2022 with the aim to get to the bottom of my symptoms and suspected diagnosis. Ten years after my first visit to the GP about my symptoms, I finally have a formal result to confirm that I was in fact not going crazy, but that I do have Endometriosis. Though I eventually had my procedure done through the NHS, I can honestly say that without Dr Mackintosh's help, sympathy, and persistence, I absolutely would not be where I am now. She is the only Dr who took the time to hear me and for that I am so incredibly grateful.

Dr Mackintosh was excellent at explaining my condition in a easy to understand way. She also looked at me as a whole, rather than just one part of what the issue was, taking into account other worries I had such as fertility.
