Mr. Hisham Abouzeid has over 25 years experience as a gynaecologist. Having graduated from medical school in 1983, with over 20 years experience, he became a member of the Royal College of obstetricians and Gynaecologists in 1994. Mr. Abouzeid has continued his medical education, completing a masters degree in Advanced Gynaecological Endoscopy from Surrey University, The Royal College of Gynaecologists certificate in laparoscopic and hysteroscopic surgery and the accreditation for colposcopy from the British Society for Colposcopy and Cervical Pathology. Mr. Abouzeid is also the lead for gynaecological oncology at the Pennine Acute Hospital NHS Trust in Greater Manchester.
Mr. Abouzeid is highly skilled as a gynaecologist, but also in major abdominal, vaginal and laparoscopic surgery, of which he teaches and mentors colleagues in undertaking such procedures. Cosmetic gynaecological procedures like Vaginoplasty and Labiaplasty are also part of his skillset and he has many years of experience.

One of the best private consultants I have met, friendly, caring and explains the information you need in detail.

Mr Abouzeid put me at ease immediately, as I was fairly anxious about what was going to happen. He explained everything in detail, made sure I understood and answered all my questions. He was very gentle and made sure I was OK all the way through the appointment and procedure as he had viewed my history, asked me about it as even inserting a speculum had been very painful in the past.

Very professional and explained the procedure in detail. After care was excellent and communicated the findings in detail. Lovely man and great surgeon

Initial consultation he was very understanding of my needs and how to full fill them. On the operating day he explained the procedure, time scales etc and I had my follow up appointment in a timely manner where he made me feel like I could approach him if I needed further help in the future

Mr Abouzeid has been kind, compassionate and understanding throughout the time I have been on his list. I always felt listened to and that he was doing what was in by best interest for my personal situation. He has been open and honest even when the news hasnt always been what I wanted to hear. I have now had my operation and had no complications. I would just like to tell him how grateful I am and what a difference having a consultant that is so kind and supportive helped me.
