I originally saw Dr Chachan regarding one issue, but during my consultation she identified a long-standing issue that no other doctor had been able to diagnose. From the very beginning, her professionalism, knowledge and exceptional bedside manner made me feel completely comfortable and reassured during what was a very personal and uncomfortable situation. I had to travel from the Isle of Man for my procedure and, as the mother of an 8-month-old daughter, this meant being away from her at an understandably difficult time. Dr Chachan was incredibly understanding and compassionate about this, which meant a great deal to me. The care I received throughout, including the procedure itself, aftercare and follow-up, has been exceptional. I have felt genuinely listened to, supported and cared for at every stage. Dr Chachan’s professionalism and bedside manner are truly unmatched, and I would have no hesitation whatsoever in recommending her.

I cannot thank Ms Sonia Chachan enough for her exceptional care and support. My husband and I urgently needed a cervical smear test so that we could proceed with our IVF treatment, as we were unfortunately unable to secure an appointment through primary care. From the moment we arrived, Ms Chachan was incredibly professional, reassuring, and made the entire procedure as comfortable and stress-free as possible. Being at a private hospital, we fully expected to pay for all the associated fees. However, we were deeply touched by her remarkable generosity; as a goodwill gesture, she completely waived the cost of the smear test itself and provided the lab results absolutely free of charge. We only had to pay for the initial consultation. We truly appreciate this exceptional kindness, as it was such a wonderful and unexpected surprise in a private healthcare setting. I also want to mention her fantastic practice manager, April, who communicated with us promptly and ensured we received our official lab results incredibly quickly so our IVF cycle wouldn't be delayed. We are so relieved and grateful for the outstanding, compassionate, and highly efficient service we received at Spire Manchester. We would highly recommend Ms Chachan to anyone seeking gynaecological care.
