Dr Sangeeta Das is a highly qualified Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist. She graduated with a MD from Utkal University, India in 1993. During her postgraduate training in Obstetrics and Gynaecology, she researched sub fertility and the role of postcoital tests in unexplained infertility. Dr Das was appointed a Consultant in Obstetrics and Gynaecology at the Royal Bolton Hospital in 2008. Since then, she has established herself as a busy general Obstetrician and Gynaecologist with a special interest in outpatient hysteroscopy, infertility, laparoscopy and gynaecological ultrasound.

Since completing her medical training in the UK, Dr Das has gone on to achieve MRCOG certification. In addition to general obstetrics and gynaecology, she has acquired specialised skills in managing subfertile couples, assisted reproduction and gynaecological ultrasound scanning. During 2003-05, she worked as a Research Fellow in the Hewitt Centre for Reproductive Medicine at Liverpool Women's Hospital. She has numerous publications in peer-reviewed journals and presentations at national and international conferences under her belt.

In addition to her membership with the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists, she is a member of the Faculty of Family Planning and Reproductive Healthcare and the International Society of Obstetrics and Gynaecology.
