Dr Hossam Elsheikh

Mr. Elsheikh is a highly experienced Consultant Gynaecologist with a comprehensive practice covering all aspects of general gynaecology. He specialises in keyhole surgery, including laparoscopy and hysteroscopy, and has a vast experience in infertility and urogynaecology and he is RCOG accredited.

Mr. Elsheikh received his medical qualifications in Egypt in 2002 and further honed his skills in the UK since 2009. He has been a member of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (RCOG) since 2010 and later has been elected to hold a RCOG Fellow status owing to his relentless work in women's health.

Mr.Elsheikh holds several clinical and research degrees in general gynaecology, infertility, laparoscopic, hysteroscopic surgeries and Urogynaecology. 

His expertise extends to a wide range of procedures, including laparosopic and open hysterectomy, myomectomy (fibroid removal), ovarian/tubal surgery, endometriosis surgery, hysteroscopy, and vaginal prolapse repair operations, all performed at Spire Regency Hospital Macclesfield.

Mr.Elsheikh is part of Stockport endometriosis centre team providing tertiary care to women with severe endometriosis in multidisiplinary setting.

In addition to his clinical work, Mr. Elsheikh is heavily involved in training junior doctors and is a member of the RCOG examinations panel and portfolio advisory committee. His dedication to advancing the field of gynaecology through both practice and education underscores his commitment to providing exemplary care and contributing to the development of the field.
