When I first went to Harley Hearing, I was scared. I was on an unknown path that I really didn’t want to go on. But I knew I had to. From my first visit, about 8 years ago, I was put at ease. I was still trying to pretend, to myself, that I didn’t need that much help though! But everyone there has both supported me and encouraged me. They have explained what was going on, and that has helped me to make the correct decisions about my own treatment. When I realised I really did need a cochlear implant, they guided me. I saw an ENT consultant -someone else who took his time to explain everything it involved. I was never pressured but I knew I had to do it. Both before and post surgery which was done only 3 weeks ago, I have been supported. Everyone’s patience and kindness went beyond what I had expected. I cannot speak highly enough of all the staff, particularly Lerissa who has been such wonderful support. The staff really do care. It’s not just a business, but a big step beyond that. I do

Mr Mfazo Hove

Ophthalmologist

Very professional and thorough and explained everything very clearly. Procedures performed were right Pterygium excision and left phacoemulsification + Carl Zeiss Trifocal lens for cataract. Mr Hove is very efficient and ensured both procedures performed at the same time. Right cataract would also have been done if not for the pterygium. Mr Hove was recommended by another ophthalmologist who said this was the person to go with. We will hopefully be doing the other cataract soon. Good recovery and seeing very clearly from eye which cataract was treated without any complications in both eyes. Mr Hove is also readily available should there be any queries.

This was my first visit to the hospital so I was a little apprehensive. I was very impressed by the cleanliness and relaxed atmosphere. The staff were very friendly and polite. Dr Hlaing was amazing. Having spoken to two GP's regarding my hair loss prior to my consultation, I was left feeling that there was very little they could do to help me. Dr Hlaing listened to me, offered a wide range of options that were available which made me feel optimistic. She was supportive, and basically couldn't do enough for me. I left the hospital a new person, full of hope for the future even though I have to play my part, life looks happy again. Thank you so much

I had my first specialist appointment at Harley Street yesterday and I was really impressed. The staff were lovely, the doctor who I saw (Professor Prasanna Sooriakumaran) had a welcoming nature and has helped me already in one visit. I asked for an appointment on Monday and was seen within a couple of days which I am very grateful for (I have a busy work schedule). I am looking forward to my next visit to receive excellent service again. I also wanted to mention that a staff member (lady) on reception was friendly and had a lovely approach. Overall, amazing service and thank you again.

We came today to see Debi regarding my daughters intolerence. Straight away we were welcomed into the room & listened to. My daughter (12) felt very comfortable & relaxed when normally she is very shy. Debi looked through her recent blood results & explained what was going on with my daughter & diagnois of Lactose Intolerent was discussed. We spoke about probiotics & what to do foodwise. We have now got to get a stool sample tested & go from there. Overall we both came away relieved that we know what the problem is. My daughter came out & said "mum, she was so nice, I really liked her".

Dr. Patel’s two PAs went above and beyond to make sure everything ran smoothly and that I was well cared for throughout my visit. It was brought forward by a few minutes as a result of a telephone call from the receptionist asking me to go for my appointnent asap because I was the last on the list and there had been cancellations. As I was dependent upon a taxi journey of 12 miles I couldn't arrive much earlier than planned. The Doctor and staff saw me immediately on my arrival and I was in there for no than 15 minutes. Excellent service.
