I was referred to Vermillion by my local dentist having had a couple of root canal treatments that had failed over the years and some significant wear to tooth enamel which they were concerned may lead to a compromised bite stability. Dr Nolan Naidoo conducted a thorough review of my teeth and recommended 3 implants and a bridge as well as veneers for my front teeth. It was very overwhelming to begin with but Nolan, along with Practice Founder, David Offord took great time and care to help me to understand the procedures and to allay my fears. The Edinburgh practice is beautiful, clean bright and non threatening. Staff are warm and welcoming and surgeons and practitioners consummate professionals. Dental surgery and cosmetic treatments are expensive. I didn’t conduct a review of comparative prices in the market (I suspect there is probably some discrepancy) because I felt that I was in the best possible hands. The technology is mind blowing (who knew that you could LASER print implant crowns and veneers!) and I would purport that at Vermillion, equipment is state of the art and that it the quality and service levels of Lab and third party suppliers are constantly under review. Delighted to laud the deep knowledge, professionalism and patient care of Dr Nolan Naidoo, to whom I am very grateful for my beautiful new smile.

Marc Laniado is top surgeon who successfully carried out my prostate cancer diagnosis and surgery. I knew him personally and that his reputation and experience were impressive. His friendly, relaxed manner and professionalism inspired me with great confidence and made me feel comfortable about how I should proceed. This left me optimistic and positive about the operation. Throughout, Marc was personable, patient and explained everything simply, so that I fully understood the entire process. I had regular contact with Marc via email and texts, and he was always sympathetic and quickly addressed my questions and concerns. The arrangements he made on my behalf, for other relevant treatment and consultations, and beyond the scope of his work, were immensely helpful. He has also been thoughtful about my overall well-being long term, and included useful advice on exercise and diet. I visited Mr. Masannat after discovering a lump in my breast, and I was immediately impressed by his professionalism and reassuring manner. He made me feel safe and supported throughout the process. On the same day, I was able to undergo a scan and receive treatment, and he personally ensured he would not leave before after my scan and speaking again with him to be able to ask all the questions i had. This high level of care and dedication was repeated during my second visit as well. I highly recommend Mr. Masannat for his expertise, compassion, and commitment to patient care. Mathew Perry was excellent throughout consultations and made special effort to come and see me between his theatre list to give me results I have to say the day unit was not as I would have hoped with no air conditioning except for an exceedingly noise free standing unit and having to be in a shared area and shared facilities The pre opp assessment left something to be desired and a letter about this was sent separately which I have still not received a response to

I felt the clinic was too relaxed and didn’t come across as a professional space . The staff were pleasant but there were people wandering about casually , not sure why they were there ? No one at the desk when I got there and someone had to go and find them . It took me 50 mins to get there only to be told I couldn’t have the scan I needed for medical reasons - I should have been made aware of this before I got there in my opinion.
