About Mr Paul Haslam
Mr Paul Haslam is a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon specialising in Knee Surgery. He obtained his medical degree from the University of Sheffield in 2004 and completed his training in Sheffield. Following his training, Mr Haslam completed three fellowships in New Zealand and Australia and developed his expertise in knee surgery. He is also a Trauma & Orthopaedic Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons.
Mr Haslam has extensive experience in knee surgery and has performed over 3000 knee arthroscopic procedures including over 1000 ACL reconstructions and over 1500 knee replacements. During the past 20 years of his career, Mr Haslam developed a specialist day-case ACL service and an arthroscopic treatment technique for Baker's Cysts. He has also treated several professional sports players including squash, rugby and football players.
He is based in Doncaster and Sheffield and currently sees private patients at The Coriel Clinic, Park Hill Hospital and Thornbury Private Hospital. He was also the Clinical Director of the Trauma and Orthopaedic Department at Doncaster in his NHS Trust. He sees patients with both common and complex knee conditions, including the following:

Attended today after having right knee surgery six weeks ago Mr Haslam was very professional and listened to everything I had to say I also expressed I was having trouble with my right knee he arranged to have an MRI done on right knee straight away I have been under Mistral Mr haslam's care for many years and I've always found him very professional and excellent in his field I thank him for expert help over the years and continuing.

After years of pain my daughter met Mr Haslam and within a few minutes he diagnosed the problem with her knee. We had seen other consultants in the past who couldn’t locate the cause of her knee pain. However, after meeting Mr Haslam, we had a care plan and we were booked in within a matter of weeks for corrective surgery. My daughter is now on the road to recovery and we are confident she will have a full recovery. The care my daughter received was brilliant and I felt confident she would be looked after well and cared for with compassion. I would highly recommend Mr Haslam to anyone with knee pain.
