Lauren took over my care and immediately referred me for a further MRI, which showed that I needed further treatment in addition to ligament replacement. Without this, I believe that I would have needed surgery again in the future. Lauren has always been thorough and clear in her communication, which helped ease my anxiety around the procedure as a whole.

Miss Thompson had been an absolute pleasure to have as a surgeon. She has taken something that was causing me a lot of problems for a lot of years and fixed it . When she fitted my internal brace and fixed ligaments and a tendon that were damaged she was amazing . The after-care she offered was second to none. She is kind, caring and respectful. She also performed a second operation due to some discomfort and strange sensations I was experiencing and again she was amazing. She is down to earth, easy to talk too and explains everything in a way that a non-medical person can understand. If you get the opportunity for this amazing lady to do an operation that you might need I would highly recommend that you go to Miss Thompson and in my personal opinion There isn't a better surgeon than her.

I was nervous about having an operation on my toe joint walking was becoming difficult and painful. I went to see Miss Thompson and had an X-ray. Miss Thompson explained what was wrong with my toe joint and my options for surgery very clearly. I had the surgery yes it was painful for the first couple of weeks, after following the exercise routine and attending physiotherapy I can walk without pain and my toe joint now moves and is flexible. I am very happy with the outcome and would recommend having a cheilectomy.

This lady had a very similar injury to mine so was very sympathetic when I told her about how much pain I was in,she took great care showing me graphics on the computer of what exactly the damage was she was lovely and I hope I get to see her again in 6 weeks,u are one lucky hospital to have her def 5*
