About Vermilion - The Smile Experts Edinburgh
Vermilion - The Smile Experts is an award-winning private referral dental clinic established in 2011 at 24 St John’s Road, Corstorphine. Later in 2018 we opened our second clinic in the gorgeous Borders town of Kelso.
We offer complex treatments such as dental implants, periodontics, prosthodontics, orthodontics, endodontics, oral surgery, dental hygiene and conscious sedation. After completing their treatment with us, patients return to their own dentist for ongoing care.
We are proud to have maintained our ‘Good Practice Accreditation’ from the British Dental Association since 2016. We were also delighted to be recognised as ‘Referral Practice of the Year North’ and for ‘Best Patient Care Scotland and Northern Ireland’ at the Private Dentistry Awards 2022. Additionally, in 2024, we were thrilled to be awarded ‘Best Referral Practice North’ at the Private Dentistry Awards.
Our values are centred around delivering consistent clinical excellence paired with outstanding service to both our patients and referring dentists.

Friendly staff, pleasant waiting area; courteous, kind and attentive consultant.
My recent visit was as previous visits where staff were friendly and approachable . I was taken on time and my appointment scheduled for an hour was completed in 40 minutes which I assume was good . I was taken care of confidently and my concerns were dealt with in a professional manner . Further treatments were discussed fully.
