Dr Jacqueline Davidson

Professional career

Dr Jacqueline Davidson, Practice limited to Periodontics, focuses on the treatment and management of patients with periodontal and peri-implant diseases and mucogingival defects. She works as part of the multidisciplinary team at Vermilion’s Edinburgh clinic, providing tailored care to support long-term oral health.

Dr Davidson has a calm and friendly manner and enjoys taking time to understand her patients and put them at ease. She is a former Clinical Lecturer and Honorary Specialty Dentist at Glasgow Dental Hospital and School as part of the restorative team, where she taught undergraduate students in the subject.

Before joining us at Vermilion, Dr Davidson spent sixteen years in general practice in Scotland and Australia where she worked in community and general practice settings.

Academic career

Dr Davidson qualified from the University of Glasgow in 2001 and holds an MSc with distinction in Clinical Periodontology from the University of Central Lancashire, where she was also involved in research.

Dr Davidson holds a postgraduate certificate in academic practice (PGCAP) from the University of Glasgow, and is a Member of the Royal College of Surgeons Edinburgh, the British Society of Periodontology and Implant Dentistry, and the Association of Dental Implantology.
