Mr Harry Bulstrode provides clear explanations and excellent patient care, fostering confidence and putting patients at ease. His surgical skill is seen in procedures like micro discectomy, deep brain stimulation, and anterior cervical decompression and fusion. Patients find a swift recovery and much pain relief after these operations, with his outstanding care including thorough follow-up and ward visits. This success is seen in managing tremor and various back pain conditions.
Dr Harry Bulstrode, is a fantastic doctor. I had a micro discectomy carried out and he explained the procedure with great clarity. He is very easy to talk to and made me feel at ease even when talking about the potential risks. I would 100% recommend his services to anyone. The operation was carried out swiftly and the recovery was phenomenal, I was fully mobile and back to work within 7 days. Obviously no heavy lifting but strength is returning very nicely. A true credit to the medical field. Thank you.
In every meeting with Mr Bulstrode all questions were answered clearly and sympathetically. My operation went well and recovery was as was exactly as it had been explained much to my relief.
I felt total confidence in Mr Bulstrode from the outset. He was friendly and reassuring. He came to see me on the ward when the operation was over. He told me that I would feel better after six weeks. This was true and I was out of pain as he had predicted. I am now able to walk unaided. I feel I have got my life back I am enormously grateful to Mr. Bulstrode.
Excellent surgeon who didn't once compromise on patient care. Answered all my questions and made me feel at ease.
Outstanding deep brain stimulation surgery. Successful outcome & lovely chat with the surgeon the following day.
Harry was in charge of my recent brain surgery. I have to thank him and his team for being so amazing throughout the whole process. People have asked if I was anxious about the operation and the truth is that I wasn't. Largely due to the excellent pre-op chat that I had with Harry. He put me at ease, he ensured I was in the best place possible and that they would take great care of me. Eternally grateful for you knowledge, skills and brilliance. All the best Johnathan

Excellent reception, explanation, before surgery and procedure. All round service, and care exceptional
I would like to thank Dr Harry Bulstrode for performing a discectomy on me. Thanks to his excellent skills and knowledge I got my life back. Prior to the surgery I had been unable to walk for 7 months, experiencing severe pain on a daily basis. I tried everything that had been suggested by professionals, but nothing had worked for me so I decided to go for the surgical intervention. As a single mum of 2 young children it felt like my life was over. I was on a long term sick from my work , this caused me great distress and caused me to worry about loosing my job and my sense of identity. When I met Dr Bulstrode, I explained to him how I felt depressed and hopeless about my future. Dr Bulstorde came across as very experienced practitioner who passed om his thoughts in a considerate and compassionate manner, whilst appearing very humble. He explained in detail what needed to be done and made me aware of all the risks associated, which seemed to be nothing in comparison to my suffering at the time. We then agreed on the surgery date, which was performed by him and his team. I was well enough to go home on the same day! I am currently 3 months post discectomy and symptom free! I have now returned to work full time, I can walk, I caneven take my children out to the park, it feels as though I have been given my life back. I have now discontinued all my pain medications. I am getting over my depression. I cannot praise Dr Bulstrode enough. He is such a kind, understanding and approachable man. I have put all my trust into him and did not get disappointed. Thank you Doctor for ...
