Mr Matthew Perry

I had a consultation followed by a surgical procedure followed with telephone calls with Mr Perry. He also called my wife to provide assurance following the surgical procedure. I am not in the habit of writing reviews and not gushing ones. In this however I feel it necessary to share my views. Mr Perry could not have provided a more complete or professional service. The skill and humanity with which he dealt with my issue, at a time which was frankly frightening and could have been overwhelming, was exemplary and I would have no hesitation in recommending his services and if occasion arose, would absolutely seek his services again.

My recent visit was to review the results of an ultrasound on my bladder. The results were not conclusive and Mr Perry suggested a different test, based on urodynamics, a new type of procedure. He explained what it is very concisely and I have elected to follow the advice. Further tests next month. Mr Perry is easy to deal with and has a good manner. His follow up is very efficient and his appointments are on time.

The review with Mr Mathew Perry was profoundly reassuring and deeply satisfying. Dr. Perry is one of the few doctors who truly takes the time to listen, understand your concerns, and treat you with both professionalism and compassion. I thank God and Dr. Perry, who listened to me about six weeks ago. Today, I am on the waiting list for open-heart surgery. After many visits to my GP without being able to get a referral for an echocardiogram, Dr. Perry took my concerns seriously and made all the difference. Thank you so much.

I was swiftly and efficiently analysed and treatment provided. Hopefully my issues are now resolved . I was impressed . Mr P was kind and not at all patronising. (I have been patronised in the past by other medical people and given the impression l must live with my issues) There will be follow up in a few months.

I think what makes a good consultation is when the consultant meets you at your level and communicates at just the right level. It was clear tome that I was part of the consultation in that here was space for me to also suggest other information that could perhaps be considered in the plan for investigation. I could not doubt the thoroughness of the the whole process. I was not just told stuff, it was a personable experience and I am glad that I was looked after by Mr Perry and his team.

Mr Perry was very supportive throughout my surgery and provided lots of explanation of what would happen and how that would affect me. He has a very calm and relaxed manner which helped me a lot through this process. He was also very responsive post surgery with any follow-ups.

Mr Perry is professional, thorough and very easy to talk to.
