Mr Henry Colaco

I guarantee that if you had a wish list of all of the attributes you would like in a medical consultant, Henry Colaco checks every single one. Henry is an exceptional communicator; he knows when to listen, when to talk and has the patience to help you understand any medical terminology that you do not understand. He is not intimidated by questions and kindly takes the time to address all of your concerns in an unhurried manner; which speaks to his maturity and professionalism. It was refreshing to not feel pressurised into any surgical decisions, and rather be provided with non-surgical options to explore first. After each appointment you receive a detailed write-up of all that was discussed, as well as next steps, which I found incredibly helpful as it is impossible to remember everything especially when you’re in a vulnerable state as a patient. In short, I would highly recommend Henry Colaco. It is a shame that medical consultants like him are not the norm. It is the reason I am taking the time to write this review.

Top notch surgeon, very friendly

I am extremely grateful to Dr. Colaço for his exceptional expertise and care throughout my subacromial decompression surgery. His professionalism, clarity, and attention to detail inspired complete confidence from the outset. The improvement was immediately evident and I felt exceptionally well cared for throughout the entire process. His entire team, including the anaesthetist, was equally outstanding, demonstrating the highest levels of professionalism, competence and attentiveness. I cannot thank Dr. Colaço and his team enough and would recommend them without hesitation.

My recent experience was very good. From the nurse Brenda who was very friendly the radiographer and of course Mr Colaco who is always easy to talk to. He explains everything very well. Including how the operation would work etc

Medically the experience was great Less so with the admin side

Insightful, businesslike , knowledgeable, competent and reassuring. As a patient I felt entirely in the hands of a committed professional.

I was very fortunate to have been introduced to Dr Colaco by a friend, who has had treatment from Dr Colaco in the past. Dr Colaco, when I met with him gave me a lot of confidence in how he presented himself to me, and I would highly recommend him to anyone seeking help for shoulder problems, ( which is for what I was seeing him ) Also all the staff at the Lister Hospital, where gracious, welcoming and efficient. I live in Canada, and although of UK origin, in Canada we have very limited access to private consultants and specialist, so I feel fortunate that I was able to be treated for my problem within 3 days of first contact with Drr Colaco

Fully explained all option, very professional and friendly

I had alot off opps on my shoulder, thants to mr colaco and his team, its seens to be holding. I can move my arm/shoulder alot more.
