Mr Shilpith Shetty is professional and clear. He helps patients feel at ease, gaining confidence. Patients receive great care and good results. Most patients have hip or knee operations from him.
I was very pleased with everything that went on and could not be happier with the outcome So well done Mr Shetty
I was impressed with the care and attention I was given in the HOC. In what can be a stressful situation for a patient. It was reassuring to have staff who behaved professionally, yet were friendly and kind, explaining clearly who they were and what procedures were taking place. The HOC and Westgate Buildings are spacious, bright and clean which also helps create a positive atmosphere when entering the premises. I received clear instructions and plenty of notice as to where and when my follow up physio appointments and meeting with Mr Shetty would be. So, congratulations and thank you for your effort that has gone into making HOC a great success.

Thanks for your kind feedback and Yes , the HOC is indeed is a great place for joint replacements
Outstanding throughout. The X-ray team were efficient and caring. Mr Shetty was warm and welcoming, reviewing my progress and clearly explaining everything to me. I could not be happier. I am si grateful to Mr Shetty, the Orthopaedics team, Winchester Hospital and the NHS.

Thanks , we do welcome your comments and compliments
I had a total hip replacement, right-hand side in January 2026. I could not be more impressed with Mr Shetty and the staff who tended to me throughout the preparation, during my operation and over my 2-night stay in the Hampshire Orthopaedic Centre, Winchester. I am badly needle-phobic - this was on my notes and taken into consideration by the empathetic anaesthetist from the beginning. The operation was a complete success (how amazing it was to come round free from pain), my recovery has been smooth and my wound (which was glued externally with dissolvable stitches internally) was neat and has healed beautifully. I will never be able to thank everyone enough because the pain I had was excruciating, I was lucky if I got 3 hours sleep/night, but I am now living my life pain-free and sleeping through the night in comfort. Thank you to the amazing Mr Shetty and the patient, kind team involved in looking after me.

Thanks , Very glad to hear you had such a great experience
