I have been a patient of Marc Laniado for more than 10 years now with a considerable number of sizable bladder and prostate related issues and can hand on heart say that Marc is undoubtedly the best doctor and surgeon I have ever met in my life. And due to a number of other health issues over the years I have met quite a few. His knowledge, skills and surgical expertise are second to none and he is always at the forefront of all of the latest proven new advanced in procedures and is an absolute expert in his entire field in my opinion. Additionally I can tell you that Marc is the most dedicated and committed man to his work and also more unbelievably supportive and committed to his patients that you could possibly imagine. He is unquestionably an extremely kind , patient, understanding and tolerant man and without him over the years I would have struggled very very much indeed, both physically and phychologically. He is so totally supportive at all times and puts his patients at the top of his priority list to an extent I have never ever witnessed before nor I believe am likely to ever see in anyone else again. Marc is also supported superbly by his P.A. Zoe who once again is very kind, patient helpful and understanding, quite apart from being absolutely superbly efficient . Which really compliments the entire superiority of a completely faultless service that Marc Laniado provides to his patients. My advice to anybody would be if you have any problems at all relative to Marc's wide range of expertise, Marc should be your one and only point of call. I promise you you will find none better and again in my opinion you will find none better... because there just isn't anyone better. An all-round wonderful doctor and surgeon and also a wonderfully kind and truly supportive man. I consider myself extremely lucky to have been recommended to Marc all those years ago and truly feel that Marc's many other patients would feel exactly the same way as I do. Speaking from a man's perspective ,urinary, bladder and prostate issues I feel can be very worrying indeed and also quite embarrassing and very stressful as they can bring considerable concern and disruption to normal life. So in summary I would say to anybody suffering with problems, Marc Laniado is your man ! You will need no other and I would stake my life you would never regret it. His undying support and understanding for his patients along with his superior knowledge, tremendous surgical expertise, and complete all round skill set is truly amazing I can honestly assure everyone who may read this. I had a hip replacement in 2011 at just 47 years of age. For two years it was good but then became problematic. I revisited my original surgeon on numerous occasions, had numerous X rays, scans and injections but to no avail. After some 7/8 years of this I was removed from list as I was told there was no issue with the hip itself. Some 2 years later the pain had gotten worse and so I referred myself back to Broadgreen Hospital. Fortunately for me this time under Mr UI Islam. He reviewed scans, X rays etc and quickly identified that hip joint had dropped hence the issues I was having. He explained the potential risks of further surgery and we decided it was worth the risk. 3 days after surgery in what he tells me was a fairly complex operation I was out of hospital. Hip is better than it has been in 15 years. I am so grateful to Mr UI Islam and could not speak highly enough of him. I have a life back because of him.

I was overwhelmed by surprise that Dr Kelly was able to clear up my ear infections , which I had in both ears for 22monthsin one visit!. Considering I had nine previous visits with another consultant at Kingsbridge hospital outpatients without success after the 9visits the consultant referred me to Dr Andrew Kelly.After 22months I was in the depth of despair as my hearing was deeply affected by the infections and my audiologist struggled to try and improve my hearing by adjusting the aid , my left ear by the way I gave up wearing at the start of my infections as I have a 90% hearing loss in that ear, so I completely dependent on the hearing aid in the right ear. I am completely indebted to Dr Kelly for helping me get over these infections , which blighted my life.

The reception staff were warm, welcoming, and very helpful. The facilities are clearly designed with kids and their parents in mind—bright, comfortable, and reassuring. The doctor who saw us was efficient, thorough, and great with my son, taking the time to make sure we understood everything. The rooms were spotless and well-organized, which added to the sense of calm during a stressful moment. Overall, a very positive and reassuring experience. I recently had a virtual consultation with Dr Mahto in the wake of having a REMS scan. Dr Mahto was flexible (I had technical issues!), friendly, professional and informative. She explained the results to me in detail, outlined the consequences of the diagnosis and suggested a clear treatment plan. She wrote a helpful report which she sent to my GP within a few days, and also made an urgent referral on my behalf. Her PA, Hannah has responded to any email or telephone queries almost immediately. The overall care provided has been exceptional, and I cannot recommend her highly enough.

As per usual every part of my visit is very professional and all the communication is prompt and informative, it is good to receive a copy of the progress. My last visit was on Saturday 6th December and it was a review of the laser treatment on my left eye - I was delighted when the review confirmed that the pressure on my eye had fallen to normal - this was a 50% reduction. I only had to put one eye drop at night. This was very professional and I have a six monthly review in my diary for 2026. I would have no problems at all in recommending Cathedral Eye Clinic.
