I went for an independent assessment of my prostate cancer diagnosis with a possible view to private treatment if I did not get chosen for focal therapy on the NHS trial that I hade been offered. Also to help me make my mind up which of the many options offered to me by the NHS A consultation was quickly arranged via Mr Doherty’s p.a. for £250 which my wife and I attended. I was given an excellent appraisal at the meeting followed by a letter that outlined a meeting Mr Doherty had with his peers to discuss my case. The letter confirmed that in their opinion focal therapy was a good option in my particular case having had access to my medical records This in my view was an excellent service for the fee but I was lucky enough to be chosen for this focal treatment under the NHS trial, I would have gone private had not my private medical insurance rejected my claim (that is another story) I am however indebted to Mr Doherty’s help and service which he provided So far the day operation held in Oxford on the 10th Nov 2025 has had very few downsides although I am still awaiting the final result on Jan 13th 2026 and hoping for a positive result from my consultant on this day The treatment was far less intrusive that the other options offered to me for which I count myself very lucky. Under the trial I will be monitored so that the NHS can find out how the longer term prognosis is for focal treatments so they are able to offer this more widely in the NHS. For my selfish sake I hope that it is good news for me and will enable others to benefit from my experience now and in the future. I am aged 74 and look forward to good health for the foreseeable future.🤞

I recently visited for an up and coming procedure I have booked in for the 12th. Dr Agha was detailed and thorough during my F2F visit. He communicates well and listened to all my thoughts, he advises well-equally is as realistic with surgery and the results. The location itself on Harley Street is pristine all of the staff and friendly and welcoming. The clinic is very easy to find- I came from Euston. It was a straight forward journey for me coming from Shrewsbury. Considering I travelled alone, it was quite enjoyable. Really looking forward to my procedure, having waited around 7 years for it after having my little girl and not wanting to jump into having surgery while she was so young. My patient advisor has also been brilliant along the way, thank you Jenny.

I saw Dr Nikolic because I was suffering from sciatica type pain which was not improving after a few months. He examined me and told me what he believed was the cause of this pain, and also organised the appropriate tests to confirm this, an MRI and an EMG and he named the neurophysiology consultant he specifically wanted to perform the nerve conduction study. After the tests he advised that an injection might help break the pain cycle, however my condition started to improve without treatment and I cancelled the injection. However if this condition reoccurs I would certainly go back to Dr Nikolic as I felt confident he knew exactly what was wrong and what might help. Since then his team have checked on my condition, which thankfully now continues to improve.

The initial consultation was an evening appointment and I considered it to be expensive. The consultants fee (Dr Kadhim) was £250 (equating to £1000 per hour) Administration fee £35 (for what) and an e.c.g which took all of 5 minutes was £111. Total £396. I was promised by the consultant that Cardioversion would happen before my holiday in mid December but received excuses from admin staff why this could not happen. I kept pestering and eventually received notice at 3.00pm the day before that Cardioversion would occur at 07.30 the following morning. The actual Cardioversion went without hitch, the consultant Dr Menown and his staff were excellent, facilities were good, food was ample and all went well. So do not take no for an answer.

Very pleasing experience. I was given plenty of time, and had a thorough examination of my ears, with the removal of wax, followed by a full hearing test. I returned a couple of weeks later, and having been shown several different hearing aids, went for ones that fit into the ear, with no wires or pieces behind the ear. I now have them on a months trial to see how I get on with them. I was quoted a price, which I understand I will pay if these are the correct ones for me, but only when I am totally satisfied. There is then a 3 monthly check included in the price. I believe I can try others if these are not right for me, and Mr Clive who I saw, was most helpful and understanding of a lady who hated the idea of wearing hearing aids!

She was exceptionally thorough, taking the time to explain everything clearly and explore all possible causes of my symptoms. She truly goes above and beyond for her patients, with outstanding communication and response times throughout. Miss Richardson is extremely knowledgeable, genuinely kind, and reassuring at every stage. She is without doubt one of the best doctors I have come across, and I could not recommend her more highly. The toilets were yet again filthy. For the second time I complained. I appreciate that nothing will change, but I discussed not only with the nurse, but also with front desk that the hygiene level was very low indeed. In a private facility this is a disgrace. Further, I found that any details given on a prior visit had not updated onto the current registration form. While I came in after 6.30 pm, i have seen the awful queues for registration at earlier times. Your reception person was on his own and was also on his own on the prior visit, and the paperwork took far too long. You need more than one person on the front desk. Overall, the clinic is poor.

I have suffered a particular condition for over 5 months. Dr Batty is the first medical practitioner to give me confidence that he under stood the symptoms and believed he knew how to alleviate them. Within 5 mins he had arranged for x rays and within 15 had used them to explain what needed to be done and how. Within 5 days I had a further appointment and the agreed treatment. Throughout Dr Batty was patient, decisive and professional. He listens carefully and answers in detail and using terms that are understandable to the layman. I am very grateful for his help and treatment.

I saw Mr Meneown, on a follow up consultation, after recent tests. I was extremely happy with how he explained everything to me in a gentle, thorough way. I would rate it 10 out of 10 the staff were so friendly and helpful couldnt do enough the dr i saw dr mamidanna was loverly and very efficient i couldnt believe how well i was treated there i expected a long wait but might have sat in the waiting room for 5 min max then after my appointment saw a loverly lady in the ultrasound department who got me an appointment that could have been the enxt day but i couldnt make it so took the one the day after everyone was so nice a polite it was such a great experience so thank you
