Dr. Tapesh Pakrashi is a highly experienced Consultant Cardiologist who specialises in diagnosing and treating a wide range of heart conditions, including heart failure, coronary artery disease, arrhythmia, hypertension, and valvular heart disease. He is dedicated to providing personalised, compassionate care, helping each patient feel informed, reassured, and confident in their treatment plan.
After graduating from the University of Oxford in 1999, Dr. Pakrashi trained in leading cardiology centres across Newcastle, Leeds, and Cambridge. He completed his advanced specialist training at world-renowned hospitals including the Royal Brompton Hospital, the Whittington Hospital, and Harefield Hospital.
Dr. Pakrashi has been a Consultant Cardiologist at Kingston Hospital since 2012 and was also a visiting consultant at St George's Hospital until 2015. He has held senior leadership roles, including Clinical Director in Cardiology and Clinical Haematology, and later, Clinical Lead for Cardiology at Kingston Hospital NHS Foundation Trust.

His PA, Alex, was also incredibly helpful, always responding promptly to my enquiries. Thank you both very much for your care, professionalism, and support.
Overall an excellent experience and positive resolution. From the initial consultation to the final consultation, Dr Pakrashi was extremely proficient, polite, professional and highly competent. He explained from the outset the process and timescales involved and always provided time and attention for any queries I had. I would highly recommend Dr Pakrashi for anything cardiac related - he is certainly one of the leading consultants in this field. I would also like to thank his PA, Alex Lackie, who has been very responsive and organised throughout the process. 5 stars for both!
