After extensive research, my husband and I agreed that Vincenzo Maurino was the best person to perform our lens replacement surgery. We felt comfortable right from the initial consultation and knew we had made the right decision. Andrew was very warm and welcoming and explained everything to us clearly about appointments and payments. Mr Maurino took time to advise us on the best treatment and lenses to suit our individual needs. We were tested thoroughly by Mr Maurino’s excellent team. At no time did we feel under pressure to commit; however, we were so impressed with everything that we were anxious to book our procedures straight away. On the day of our surgeries, we arrived at Moorfields and were greeted by wonderful nurses who took great care of us. Mr Maurino talked us through the process both before and during surgery. Everything was very efficient, quick, and painless. We have no hesitation in recommending Mr Maurino and staff; in fact, we have already passed on Mr Maurino’s details to friends and family who are now looking to book. A massive thank you to the whole team for an excellent service. We are delighted and grateful for the life-changing experience and having 20/20 vision for the first time in our lives.

Had an appointment for hip injections. I was seen on time. The consultant Mr Howell and radiologists Rachel and Natalie were all amazing. They were welcoming, friendly, professional and warm. They helped me to relax, feel comfortable, assured and confident. I have had the absolute pleasure of meeting many of the staff at St Hugh's and would recommend the hospital to anyone. The people are so genuine, lovely, human, friendly and professional. You are welcomed by the reception staff immediately upon arrival and the experience continues throughout. I appreciate that the staff work in a relatively calm setting, but they make the experience. This is a really well run hospital overseen by the director Ellen and her deputy Sarah. The consultants are of the highest quality. This is an amazing local resource which must be protected. The hospital undertake vital NHS work as well as private work. NHS pressures challenge the continued operation of St Hugh's, which would be a tragedy. Thanks and best wishes to everyone! Xx

This was a follow-up appointment. It should have been after 2 weeks but because the practitioner works very part-time this wasn’t possible. She then said I should have been in sooner! Treatment not as successful as with past practitioners before we moved to this area (I had brought records to first appointment but she had suggested a different approach). Further treatment offered on the day of the follow-up but I felt the practitioner was getting very defensive and I was losing confidence, so I declined. When I was waiting to go in someone else was trying to book a follow-up appointment. When she couldn’t get one desk staff said it probably didn’t matter as most people don’t need it! This clinic suits me location wise but unfortunately this wasn’t a great experience so I won’t go back.

Mr Ben Yates is in my opinion an excellent podiatric surgeon who gives a very good clinical opinion. I was unhappy that Mr Yates charged me for a “new patient” appointment when this was in fact a follow up appointment lasting about 12 minutes following previous surgery by Mr Yates. Furthermore, I did not receive a clinic letter from Mr Yates until I chased it up more than 2 weeks after my appointment. I received no apology for the delay in sending the letter. Mr Yate’s clinical letter did not contain all the information promised at the consultation and I was obliged to chase this information again. I emailed Mr Ben Yates to raise my concerns but I did not receive a reply from him.

I was very pleased with my visit to The Forbury Clinic, and was really impressed with how clean and tidy it was, the receptionist was very pleasant and showed my wife and myself upstairs to the waiting area, it was very nice to meet Alexia, we both thought she was extremely pleasant and was very pleased with her examination of my issue, and look forward to my next meeting with her. It was also very nice to meet with Doctor Savage, a very nice gentleman, very courteous to the both of us ,was very patient and was again ,pleased with his time and advice, Thank you all very much. Thanks to everyone at Freedom Vision in Bromley for giving me a positive experience throughout my time with them.  I was very nervous to have the procedure, but it went smoothly and led to an excellent outcome.  Having had my cataracts removed from both eyes and RayOne Galaxy Toric multifocal replacement lenses fitted, I now have amazing eyesight for distant, intermediate and near vision.  I am especially grateful to the optometrist and the surgeon for their expertise and care, and to Chirag, the Patient Liaison Manager who always made me feel well supported.

The actual visit with dentist (Simon Robertson) was at is normal excellent standard by explaining what dental work was required to resolve the situation of which he completed explaining each task as he progressed with no drama or problems. The total experience was highly professional and would recommend this practice to anyone
