Usually feedback is of a negative nature but this is not one of those occasions. My experience was awesome for which I am super grateful. I have had a number of gastroscopies in my life so was nervous about what was going to happen. From the moment of my arrival I was greeted and made to feel comfortable straight away. The pre-procedure nurses were very clear, helpful and showed huge amounts of empathy about what was going to happen. When wheeled into the operating theatre I was introduced to all of the team who were to perform the procedure, all of whom had welcoming smiles and a reassuring tone (a tone that continued throughout the procedure). Dr Alan Watson was super clear, professional and again very comforting. I knew I was in safe hands. I just had a throat spray, no sedation, so was fully aware of what was going on. One action that was performed by a nurse during the procedure was to, comfortingly, rub my shoulder. I couldn’t see who it was, but such a small, seemingly insignificant action, was hugely important to me and kept me connected with humanity during the brutal fact that I had a scope down my throat. Post procedure, I was greeted with the warm smiles again and wheeled to the recovery area where again everyone was super attentive. I can’t say thank you enough for everything. The team were awesome.

I am 6 weeks post back decompression surgery. Having suffered for 18months I was recommend to see Carl Hardwidge and wow am I pleased I did! He has literally changed my life which had become so miserable with constant pain. I saw Carl 3 times before I had the surgery and never once was I rushed and he explained everything in detail that was going to happen. Carl really is the easiest person to talk to and has a wonderful funny sense of humour On the day of surgery Carl came to my room and went through everything again and made sure I was ok This was the theme post surgery, Carl visited twice a day for the 4 days I was in hospital, to check how I was doing and generally to just have a chat, even if he did moan on occasions that I wasn’t eating enough 😝 I can literally not recommend Carl enough and I will be forever grateful of his expertise in fixing me! Thank you so much Carl 😘

I am so grateful to Delamere for my 4-week stay. The facilities are truly incredible - comfortable, well-appointed and a palpable feeling of safety. The staff are such caring, friendly and interesting people - with the relevant experience to truly empathise and help with our unique circumstances. The food is world-class, with a wide range of options and affordances for those with dietary restrictions. The suite of experiential options will introduce you to new therapeutic experiences, many of which you may take away with you. The curriculum is focussed and has real depth, and is taught by professionals with real experience of addiction. The clinical staff are wonderfully attentive and caring, and will move mountains to make you comfortable. I am so pleased to have made the decision to stay at Delamere and would recommend it whole heartedly to anyone who wants to make a change.

Very pleasing experience. I was given plenty of time, and had a thorough examination of my ears, with the removal of wax, followed by a full hearing test. I returned a couple of weeks later, and having been shown several different hearing aids, went for ones that fit into the ear, with no wires or pieces behind the ear. I now have them on a months trial to see how I get on with them. I was quoted a price, which I understand I will pay if these are the correct ones for me, but only when I am totally satisfied. There is then a 3 monthly check included in the price. I believe I can try others if these are not right for me, and Mr Clive who I saw, was most helpful and understanding of a lady who hated the idea of wearing hearing aids!

Mr Vakharia is an incredibly experienced and knowledgeable doctor. He treated me for stage 4 endometriosis after my initial diagnosis on the NHS. He made sure I had all the tests needed to establish the extent of my condition which was debilitating at certain points of my cycle. He was patient and compassionate in explaining my options and gave me plenty of space to ask any questions in the moment and encouraged me to take my time thinking over treatment options before making my decision. I ultimately chose the surgical route as that would've improved my quality of life the most and it was a supportive and reassuring experience from start to finish.

Miss Hazlerrigg and her team have been incredibly supportive, reassuring and positive in what had been quite a traumatic horse riding accident. It has been over a year following my accident, surgery, post op and rehabilitation/ physiotherapy. It had been a tough year trying to deal with a toddler one handed and deal with an unsympathetic work place. However, thought out it Miss Hazlerigg has been incredibly supportive, empathetic and reassuring. I am forever grateful how she has handled my case and how kind she was. I had both breast implants removed due to rupture and advanced capsular tissue which was causing pain and discomfort. My implants were 15 years old and were from a leading cosmetic surgery company in the U.K.. Mr Mylvaganam is extremely professional, kind and so easy to talk to. I’m 100% satisfied with every aspect of my treatment from start to finish and would recommend him without hesitation. I’m currently 2 weeks post op and couldn’t be happier with the results and I’m finally out of pain for the first time in 2-3 years.

Very good overall. Minor gripes only would be the limited parking, limited capacity in waiting areas and that some seating is too low to meet the needs of hip / knee patients . The roll out of the new call centre facility makes for a patchy experience at times and it’s concerning that online accounts fail to show all patient appointments - even with the consultants - which may lead to confusion and potential missed appointments. Work in progress and will surely iron out in time.

I wouldn’t recommend PPCS to anyone as I feel that I have been neglected there has been no consideration for my mental health and well being, communication has been very poor being told one thing and then another I will be putting a complaint into the CQC
