I did have to wait a while before I was seen, maybe 30 minutes or so, but all the staff were wonderful, caring and reassuring all the way through to being cared for after the procedure. However I feel that the consultant over sprayed the anaesthetic in my throat, he sprayed about 3-4 squirts in my throat, stood back for a moment then sprayed another 3-4 squirts, some of which ended up going into the back of my nasal passages at the back of my throat which gave me a terrible burning sensation in the back of my nasal passages. Maybe this amount is normal, but having had the procedure at another establishment some years earlier, I had no such experience, again I found that there was so much mucus in my throat from the anaesthetic after the procedure that I found myself gagging on the mucus and I was coughing loads of it up into tissues the nurse had to provide me with. Plus I was unable to swallow properly for what seemed like ages. But over all, the staff were wonderful and very caring, but if I need this again, after this experience, I think I would prefer to be sedated.

    Dr James Harrison

    Cardiologist

Dr Harrison was very pleasant and very approachable. He asked about my health and any conditions I have. He asked about my symptoms and explained to me what caused these. His explanation was very clear and very thorough and this was important for me. I like to know. With his nurse he carried out an ECG, arranged for me to have blood tests and an echocardiogram which I was able to have the same day. I was very reassured by Dr Harrison. He prescribed Bisoprolol 2.5 mg which I commenced the following morning. Dr Harrison explained the manoeuvres I could carry out if I had palpitations but apart from one short episode these have ceased. I am grateful to Dr Harrison and I would definitely make an appointment to see him if I had any further symptoms and I would recommend him to anyone needing to see a cardiologist.

From the moment I contacted the clinic, I was dealt with in such a professional, caring way that I was instantly put at ease and filled with confidence. An appointment with Dr Airey was organised promptly following blood test results, and a treatment plan was put together. My treatment plan was personalised for my symptoms and results, and each blood marker was discussed in length. Any question that I asked was answered in such a way that I was left feeling confident and assured that I was in the right place. Fast forward 2 months since treatment began - I feel like a new man. I genuinely have my life back thanks to Urban TRT and the team. I look forward to continuing my treatment. If you are on the fence about which clinic to choose, honestly, look no further. Urban TRT has my backing 1000%.

I arrived at the appointed time, checked in with the receptionist given forms to complete which I completed & handed back to the receptionist, after waiting half an hour passed my appointment time I was still waiting to be seen, eventually my partner asked a male nurse if Mr Patel was running late, and we were told that we were the next to be seen, when we were invited in to see Mr Pater he was very apologetic for keeping us waiting saying that there had been an administrative error whereby he had been told that I hadn’t arrived for my appointment, Mr Patel commented that he thought that was strange as the paperwork I had compieted on my arrival was on his desk. So he realised that I was there but nobody had apparently bothered to check.

I went in recently with a hamstring injury and had an ultrasound done by Dr Joshi. I have to say the whole experience was really positive. The staff were friendly and made me feel comfortable as soon as I arrived, which helped a lot since I was a bit nervous. Dr Joshi was fantastic he took the time to explain what he was doing during the scan and answered all my questions in a way that was easy to understand. He was kind, patient and very thorough, which gave me a lot of confidence in the care I was receiving. I left feeling reassured and well looked after. I really appreciate the professionalism and kindness from both Dr Joshi and the team, and I’d happily recommend them to anyone needing treatment.

From start to finish, the treatment I received was outstanding. Mr Almidani immediately put me at ease, and I felt complete trust in him from the very beginning. I had full confidence in every decision he made, and I was proved right as everything went smoothly. After my surgery, he not only visited my donor but also continued to ask after her — something he didn’t have to do but which was deeply appreciated, especially by my mum. A few weeks later, he went out of his way to save me time and effort by removing my neckline during a clinic appointment, sparing me an additional wait and trip to day surgery. I will always be profoundly grateful for the exceptional care I received.

I recently went to see Mr Oakley for my follow up after a knee replacement. I was shown the before and after x rays of my knee, and we spoke of the new knee replacement and problems corrected on the outside of my knee. I was able to ask questions, particularly regarding the outer knee correction which is still causing some pain. Mr Oakley explained that it would take some time but should improve. I was told that I could be seen by Mr Oakley if I was having difficulties in the next year which was very reassuring. I will be seeing him for a year post op check up. Mr Oakley was friendly, helpful and professional and importantly made me feel I was in competent and safe hands.

Thursday afternoon visit, the surgery did not adjust to be that busy, arrived before my appointment time but still had to wait till after my scheduled time before being seen. Cat was blocked in when I be wanted to leave and I requested for the owner to move their vehicle as I had other engagements scheduled. No sense of urgency amongst the staff it appreciation that my time is as valuable as theirs. Managed to manoeuvre my car out whilst waiting so impact was not as bad as if I had waited for the other to move their vehicle but it was irritating.

Now being in my eighties I have for the last three years had an annual check-up at the Basuto Medical Centre (Dr Pozzi). The check-ups have been extremely comprehensive and informative. Indeed so well have they been conducted that they has given me peace of mind with any possible problems being both explained and, if necessary, dealt with. I cannot speak more highly of the way I have been treated and can think of no anyway the Busuto Medical Centre could have given me a better service.

Once inside the building I was greeted promptly by the receptionist who was approachable and friendly. Wait time was a little longer than expected but staff did advise of this. Otherwise a very positive consultation experience. Being new to the hospital site, it wasn’t easy to locate SPH as signage tailed away aster the first o two. Car parking was poor - no spaces available on arrival and no indication given of alternatives.

I have had a great experience through this whole process honestly. My GP were struggling to make any considerable progress but RTN have been amazing. Doing my video call assessment I went into it extremely anxious as video calls are not the sort of thing I feel comfortable with. However Lucy, made me feel extremely at ease, and the whole conversation was easy to get through, no discomfort at all.

My shoulder was unstable following dislocation. I saw Mr Malik at Spire Worcester where he recommended non-surgical treatment which did not quite work. He recommended surgery, Latarjet which was done few months ago. My shoulder is back to being stable and I am confident in doing all things. Many thanks to Mr Malik and team for looking after me. I am very happy with his care.
