Mr Amar Mohee

Mr Mohee has made my daughter feel extremely comfortable , he has always explained clearly and precisely what he is doing, therefore we have felt very at ease with his suggestions! We are extremely happy with everything we’ve been told so far! My daughter fears have been eased continually by Mr Mohee!

In my experience, Mr Mohee is an excellent urologist. He quickly put me at ease. I found him approachable and easy to talk to. He explained things clearly in plain English and took the time to talk through my condition and the available options. I was particularly impressed that he didn’t rush towards surgery. I’ve always felt in safe hands and would happily recommend him.

Had some minor issues after a treatment and Mr Mohee fitted me into his busy schedule to see me and put my mind at rest. Always very professional, friendly and attentive!

From first consultation back in January, to the follow-up 6 weeks after my robotic bladder diverticulectomy surgery, Mr Mohee has been an absolute diamond. Mr Mohee is enthusiastic, friendly, empathetic, and light hearted when it was needed whilst demonstrating an exemplary level of professionalism. When I had my first flexible cystoscopy he could tell I was very squeamish and his (and his teams) unique way of settling me made me pretty much forget what I was in there for because I was laughing so much. Two days after the big operation in April, (just before my discharge from the Cheadle Alexandra hospital) Mr Mohee came to visit me again and told me the operation (5-6 hours I believe) had been a great success. He checked how I was doing before advising me on how the next 2-3 weeks would be. He was spot on. Spent those weeks recovering well. Fast forward to my follow up on 21st May, and Mr Mohee seemed genuinely delighted with how the operation and recovery had gone. Mr Mohee is clearly a very talented surgeon, but add in his obvious love for the job, his sharp wit and humour and how evident the mutual respect there is between him and his team, I felt like I was in the best hands possible.

At least 90 mins waiting time - all patients appeared to be booked in the same window - very poorly organised without any apology or explanation. Consultant himself good. Overall experience poor. Lack of respect for other people time!

I have had a number of procedures under the care of Mr Mohee and every time, even with some unpleasant procedures he has made me feel relaxed and most of all, he has made me feel like he genuinely cares about me as a patient. I can’t rate him highly enough and the team that supports him. Thank you !
