About Mr Mutie Raslan
Dr. Mutie Raslan is a highly skilled Consultant Urological Surgeon with a specialist interest in minimally invasive surgery for bladder and prostate cancer. He also provides a comprehensive general urology service, including the management of benign prostate conditions, urinary tract infections, haematuria, peno-scrotal conditions, and renal colic.
Dr. Raslan's expertise in robotic bladder and prostate cancer surgery was honed during a one-year fellowship in Pelvic Uro-oncology at Oxford University Hospitals. Following this, he was appointed as a Consultant Urological Surgeon at Salford Royal Hospital in 2022. His extensive training includes basic surgical training in the North West of England and East of Scotland regions, followed by urology specialist training in the Yorkshire and Humber region.
Committed to delivering the highest standard of care, Dr. Raslan has held the role of Governance Lead for Urology in his Trust. He has contributed to the field through numerous publications in peer-reviewed journals and presentations at national and international conferences.
Dr. Raslan holds professional memberships with the British Association of Urological Surgeons, European Association of Urologists, Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh, and the British Medical Association.

Mutie was very kind,caring and professional would highly recommend and if I have further problems [hopefully not] I will be have no hesitation in calling Mutie.
I found Mr Raslan to be very friendly and informative. He made me feel at ease and explained everything about my recent operation I would highly recommend Mr Raslan to any of my relatives or friends needing medical care .
I had reservations about having this operation but Mr Raslan explained everything that was going to happen in a calm friendly manner and left me in no doubt what to expect and when. My operation went very smoothly and, it is only 4 days post op, the outcome is very good. From first consultation to discharge Mr Raslan was excellent.
