From the moment I stepped inside, the environment felt calm and thoughtfully designed, creating a sense of safety that made it easy to settle in. The reception area was quiet, classy and elegant, and the overall atmosphere conveyed a level of respect and attentiveness that immediately put me at ease. What truly elevated the experience was my session with Dr. Olena Edwards. Her approach combines exceptional clinical expertise with a rare ability to connect on a human level. Throughout the session, she listened with genuine presence, care and offered insights that were both clear and deeply resonant. Dr. Edwards has a remarkable talent for explaining complex emotional patterns in a way that feels accessible and empowering. Rather than offering generic guidance, she tailored the conversation to my specific concerns, helping me understand not just what I was feeling, but why — and what meaningful steps I could take moving forward. It’s evident that she brings both skill and heart to her work, and that combination makes a profound difference. The setting itself further enhanced the experience. The clinic is beautifully maintained — discreet, peaceful, and spotless. It’s the kind of space where you can slow down, breathe, and focus entirely on yourself without distraction. Dr. Edwards is exceptional in her field, and I have yet to meet anyone whose expertise and compassion surpass hers. I attended the Neurology Clinic at Cleveland Clinic, Portland Place London for a second medical opinion (covered by my insurance) and I had ALL medical reports with me. The booking process was straightforward, and the reception team were excellent—very responsive and professional, with great customer service. I also appreciated that the clinic arranged for my MRI images to be transferred ahead of my appointment, so the consultant would have access to my medical history. Unfortunately, I was very disappointed with how the consultation itself went. I came with up-to-date MRI scans (completed recently through an NHS neuroscience unit), along with relevant medical reports and test results. However, the doctor did NOT properly review my MRI images, stating they were “bad quality,” and instead suggested I pay privately for repeat MRI scans at Cleveland Clinic London 3Tesla MRI scanner (my all mri's were done on 3Tesla scanners). He also recommended another lumbar puncture, again privately, despite the fact that I have already had one. Overall, I left with the strong impression that the focus was on arranging further paid tests rather than reviewing the information already available and providing a clear second opinion. In the end, I did not receive any meaningful second medical opinion, no conclusions were offered, and I felt I had not been listened to. To be fair, Dr Wallace Brownlee was polite, kind, and his manner was professional. The neurological examination was fine. However, I still left without any explanation or diagnostic opinion, despite no recent change in my clinical picture that would obviously justify repeating tests before offering an assessment. Based on my experience, I would not recommend Dr Wallace Brownlee for someone seeking a genuine second opinion.

Excellent bedside manner with a true desire to get to the bottom of a problem. Free from the often occurring "I am so brilliant vibes" that I at times got from other consultants. Refreshing down to earth, approachable, very friendly. Most importantly, excellent listening skills, does not try to convenience you of a diagnosis after only hearing a quarter but appears to be thorough before making up his mind. Excellent communicator, who gets a patient fully involved, showing pictures to explain and explaining what he sees on a screen. I initially was a bit apprehensive thinking, hmmm has not got 3 decades of experience like some practitioners I saw in the past. On reflection, a good thing, still greatly motivated to make a difference and passionate about what he does. Deos not leave you feel watching the clock (he went over time, thank you) or rushed. Overall so far a positive experience (first consultation). I usually don't leave long feedbacks but if someone "goes the extra mile", so will I. Most importantly, if you had negative experiences before with consultants causing you pain/flare ups in the night and following day(s) due to handling you roughly during an examination, then give Dr Raiman a try. He very carefully moved my limbs with utmost consideration during the necessary examination, which helps building trust.

Walking into Spire hospital at Manchester, I was greeted by really good reception staff who listened to what I said and then made it happen. It felt very well organised. Into the wards/clinics for treatment, I was again greeted by friendly, confident staff who quickly put me at ease and explained what was to be carried out. All of my tests/treatments were carried out very professionally, on time and with care and respect. I felt comletly at ease throughtout. 5 Stars in every respexct for the clinical staff and Spire Manchester. Bad Experiencies. Dealing with the Spire Online/ Phone back office and Booking System. It was diabolical in all aspects. It appeared to be very dis-jointed and not able to pass information on internally nor take notice of what I told them. I received meaningless paperwork that bore little resemblance to what was to be done and its timeline. The night before treatment, around 8 p.m., I even received an email that told me all my procedures/ tests were to be carried out in Liverpool, not Manchester. Very poor level communications from Spire admin. very bad experience for me.

I was referred to Mr. Rahman by a surgeon that will be reconnecting my small intestine to my large intestine. Due to the severity of my case (starting out as an emergency and ICU patient), I needed some additional support and medical intervention to help me live and also prepare for a successful surgery. This means short term TPN treatment, at home PN treatment, management of hydration, electrolytes, etc. As soon as I met Mr. Rahman, I knew I was going to be well taken care of - I had been discharged from a hospital with little to no guidance and a lot of fear and with the assistance of Mr. Rahman I made it through some of the most difficult times (and continue to do so). Mr Rahman is confident in his statements, knowledgeable in his field, and also completely transparent. I appreciated the directness, the collaboration and his willingness to listen to me, answer my questions and not rush through appointments. Since having Dr. Rahman on my medical team, my husband and I have been able to share the weight of our fears. I would highly recommend Dr. Rahman.

Attended for a blood test. I’ve had multiple bad experiences with blood tests over the years. This is primarily because I have very small and narrow veins which disappear with the touch of a needle..☹️ I find the whole experience extremely painful and distressing … I explained all of this to Debbie, the wonderful and kind nurse who attended me. She was brilliant! Totally put me at ease and was incredibly supportive and gentle. I was definitely a challenge for her as my veins were completely uncooperative per usual. But she took her time and used the smallest needle possible to minimise any discomfort. She succeeded in the end and managed to get enough blood for a full blood count!! Miraculous! I am so very grateful to Debbie for turning a potentially very upsetting and negative experience into a positive outcome. She has helped me to regain a little more confidence in having my blood taken again. Thank you Debbie! 😊

I’m now two months post-op and I honestly feel amazing, like I’ve got my life back. I can’t recommend Dr Hunter highly enough, especially if you’re suffering with fibroids. We paid £240 to the consultant and gained no extra knowledge or benefit. She basically couldn’t help because she said I needed fertility and not recurrent miscarriage. She said there was a fertility consultant there I should have booked with. Then why not offer to not charge me and book me with right person? Isn’t that what healthcare should be about rather than about taking my money? There is no triage service in place to make sure I got the right appointment. I feel robbed at a time where I am vulnerable.
